unauthorized charges
I returned the unused portion of sample products from Dermitage along with the return merchandise authorization info I was given by them. It also cost me $2.25 to mail it to them on February 15, 2009, with the return due by February27, 2009. On March 3, 2009, Dermitage billed my checking account $89.95. They dis-allow e-mail contact with regard to customer care and rarely seem to answer their phone. To date I have been unable to make contact with Dermitage, and I want the charge of $89.95 reversed.

Unauthorized charges
I ordered the Dermitage face creams on Dec. 30, 2008. The company says you can try to the product for two weeks and just pay shipping costs, so I did. It made my face red and splotchy, so on Jan. 14, 2009, I called the 800 number and canceled any future shipments and agreed to return the unused product. They gave me a RSA code and sent me an email confirming my cancellation and saying I had to return the unused portion by Feb. 28, 2009. I also got another followup email on 1/30/2009 confirming my cancellation and again, saying I needed to return the unused portion by 2/28/2009.
On 2/14/2009, I mailed the unused portion back to them, and it arrived on 2/17/2009. I have delivery confirmation to prove it. Later on 2/14/2009, however, I got yet another email notification from Dermitage, although this time it stated that my unused product was due back to them by 2/14/2009 - two weeks earlier than previous emails stated. I tried calling them to ask about the discrepancy, but no one answered the phone. On 3/1/2009, they billed my credit card $89.95 for the products. I tried calling the 800 number again but no one ever answers. Ever. Because I have documentation for everything, my credit card company says I will not have to pay that $89.95, but as far as I'm concerned, this company is nothing but a scam.

Won't take product back
I cannot use the product because of alergic reaction. My eyes tear for at least 24 hours. Unfortunately, I bought the eye cream without getting the trial first. They would not take the eye cream back, which, of course, is the major problem.
So now I have to pay for something which I cannot use and pay shipping to get the trial product back to them.
On top of that, I suddenly started getting "junk" e-mails - about 30 to 40 a day. CS says they do not sell e-mails. - Right!!
After reading about the multiple billings...I'll be watching my credit card closely!

Scam and cheating
So Dermitage runs a good scam, but here's how to beat it: since the customer service number they give you doesn't work, contact their parent company, Syndero at 415-977-0490. You can also just google the company, but at best, go to LinkedIn.com, which will have the names of the people you need to speak to, try the VPs. When I spoke to the VP of customer service, I told them I was wise to their scam, I lived in San Francisco and had no problem going to their office and raising hell (all true). You probably don't need to go that far, but tell them you know the number they gave doesn't work and you will keep calling back until they help you. The guy I spoke to, Pat, canceled my order right then and sent me an email confirmation within minutes. I also asked for his personal number and the VP of operations number, Andrea O'Brien (hers is 707-864-6813).
And so, I have never been charged for my Dermitage, and got to keep my order free of charge with the condition that I never call them back (ha!). Pat asked how I found them (his exact words! What a scam they have going on!) and I told them. Seriously, for anyone who has been ripped off, try what I have outlined here.

Unauthorized Credit Card Charges
My wife ordered free samples from Dermitage, only $ 3.97 shipping charges were required and charged against my credit card. No other orders were placed with this company. Three weeks later a charge of $ 89.95 was made without any authorization, order or receipt of goods. The pattern and even the amounts are similar to numerous other complaints. This is an apparent fraudulent scheme and somebody needs to do something about it.

charging credit card
I have just opened my credit card statement to find an 89.95 charge from Dermitage. I am not much for suing but I feel a class action suit may be in line for this one. I only ordered the free trial sample of Dermitage for 6 or 7 dollars. I feel like what they have done is stole from us. I gave them no authorization to charge my account. Anyone with me?

No credit for returned product
I returned a Dermitage "automatic shipment" (a swindle apart from this complaint) for which I was charged $135.90 (the product does nothing!). I used the company shipping label, which was emailed to me. I referenced the company RMA number. Dermitage says they have not received the product.

Unauthorized billings
I too had this company charge me 89.95 after the trial period. Free my ass!!! I too called but service was very rude. After reading that this company will keep billing you even after you cancel I decided the best thing to do is to close my credit card. I told my card company I lost my card...so they close it and send me a new number now Dermitage can not charge me anymore. Jerks!!

Credit card scams
Please email me about this Dermitage scam now! Wow! After reading the other posts here it's very clear to me that Dermitage is a criminal enterprise and nothing less. Yep, I signed up for their free sample and then they started sending me packages and billing me amounts like $114 for things I never ordered. I'm now going to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Feds about mail fraud and I suggest that all of us who have been similarly scammed begin to collect information on each other and send each other emails so that we can collectively go after these scum. My address is: [email protected]. Please contact me immediately!
