Desire Clothing just proved to be a very bad experience
I have placed an order with Desire Clothing. They debited my card with the purchase amount, never sent me an invoice stating my items and then they asked for a copy of my ID or Passport so they could verify my identity. Since, for obvious reasons, I refused to provide it, they informed me that they would only process my order after they’ve debited my account with a symbolic amount of which, I would have to inform them upon its receipt. I received their 0.02 (what an incredible amount) cents back into my account in a day. So I sent them an e-mail and waited for my order to be dispatched. If 5 days with no reply and no order confirmation, I’ve sent them another e-mail asking them why on earth they did not ship my order yet. They have replied that I am yet to confirm the amount that they debited! Now I was getting really angry as their customer service was proved to be absolutely useless. I’ve been an online shopper for the past 10 years and I never EVER had problems of this sort with any UK sites, not even with Chinese sites for that matter. Then they apologised saying that they haven’t received my confirmation e-mail stating the refunded amount (the 0.02 cents) and advised that they would credit my account with the relevant amount as I stated that after all that mess I wished to cancel my order. It has been over 2 weeks since then and they still haven't refunded my account. Desire Clothing just proved to be a very bad experience and it's not the money rather than receiving a service that you paid for.
