Trying to over charge me

I took out a contract for a htc hd mini, I asked if it was android because that was what I wanted at the time. I was told it would work on android platform but it did not it was infact a lower end windows mobile. I liked the phone until I found out they only wanted me to have that phone because it was going out of stock and they wanted rid of it. For 25 pound a month I got 200 minutes 300 texts and 500mbs internet. vodafone was also taking those megabites off me almost as soon as I had used the internet even tho on pay as you go they dont do that wich proves there also ripping off there customers. I called dial a phone to complain about the windows phone they had tryed to off load on me and they refused to send me the phone I had originaly asked for. They said they did not have the htc disire in stock, wich was later made clear they did they just did not want me to have one. so instead I was given an x10 mini pro wich is not worth as much as the htc hd mini and is now on there website for only £139.89 wich annoyed me. So basically I was paying for a more expensive phone but they had replaced it with a cheap one, that I have no found out is also going out of stock because it will never be exceed android 2.1. so I am stuck having to pay 450 pound or more to get a keep a phone that is only worth less than 150. they have not only upset me but they have made me believe that all mobile contracts are scams. they trap you into a mobile contract that you cant get out of. and then they try and take as much money as possible off you. but my initiaal complaint is that I should not have to pay for a phone that is soon to be worthless when I took out a contract for a more expensive phone that is also not worth any thing either. so they have robbed me and I do not think I should have to pay for a phone I did not want and I should also not have for the contract either if its for a more expensive phone that there never going to give me. also they now have the phone that they should have sent me in the first place on there website for only 15 pounds a month how unfair is that then!.

Terrible company

Purchased a mobile and 18 month contract from dial-a-phone in Dec 07. Phone arrived and contract started and was told that not only did I have 3 months free insurance but the phone was under a 12 month manufacturers warranty too. In Feb 08, the on/off button came off the phone and I tried to contact dial a phone but there was not a number anywhere other than sales. I spoke to sales and they told me to email which I did. I wrote over 40 emails with no response other than an automated one. I eventually phoned sales again and insisted that they informed me what to do with the faulty mobile. I assumed that they would simply collect it and send another one. Not that simple! I was told to send the mobile back to a repair centre. I queried at the time why it was not covered under the 12 month warranty with the manufacturer and then a lot of confusion arose over if the damage was cosmetic of a fault. In my opinion as the phone was 6 weeks old and the on/off button had fallen off, it was a very important part of the phone and no way cosmetic, and was needed to operate the phone, not make it look pretty. To cut a long story short with loads of emails flying around with ZILCH response, I sent the phone off at my expense. I received a call about a month later ( by the way, they guarantee a repair within 24 hours) telling me that I would need to pay for the return of my phone and WAIT FOR IT!!! Yep, also pay for the repair. To date I do not have a phone, I am paying £25 per month for another 12 months as it was an 18 month contract.
