I took two rings into this business to have sized. After looking at my rings, the saleslady called a second person in from the back to look at them. They then told me that the rings could not be sized because they were "costume" pieces and heat would make the gold color come off. I said "Really? So, the stones aren't real either?" and they said "No."

Here is the kicker: the one ring (I am not sure about the other one, it was a gift) was purchased by me from Zales Jewelers and DIAMONDS BY THE SEA HAD CHARGED ME FIFTY DOLLARS LAST YEAR TO PUT A NEW "GOLD" SHANK ON IT!
