I have a problem with both DIETMAX & PROFITVAULT. I just called PROFITVAULT at their 877-874-1511 number and not only asked what the bogus charge was for, but also demanded my money back.
It all stemmed from ordering acai cleanse pills from DIETMAX (http://www.mydietmaxcleanse.com/#). First of all, in the fine print, they say that by using their website, "All transactions will be charged a Non Refundable $1.25 Convenience fee for use of website within 60 days of use." That explained the second bogus charge.
(The first bogus charge of $87.13 was for the pill order that I cancelled in 8 days after the initial order. 17 days and 5 phone calls later, I still don't have that refund!)
The third bogus charge is from PROFIT VAULT: The agent on the phone said that, "by signing up for the DIETMAX service, you agreed to participate in other promotions." However, after reading, word for word, DIETMAX's Terms and Conditions AND their Privacy Policy, I found nothing clearly stating what the agent said. I DID find this statement in their Privacy Policy: "Company may use Individual Information to provide promotional offers to individuals by means of email advertising, telephone marketing, direct mail marketing, online banner advertising, and package stuffers, among other possible uses." WOW! "...among other possible uses"!!! That's scary...
Both DIETMAX and PROFITVAULT offices are in El Tecal, Panama, and are not under any other country's jurisdiction.
Incidentally, PROFITVAULT El Tecal has NO website!
