Same thing has happened to me here in Canada. How can these people be allowed to offer trials that don't even arrive before the trial period is up. I have no problem with ones that say once you receive this you have so many days to cancel but to start a trial period before you get the product is ridiculous!

Im in New Jersey and the same thing has happened to me. I did not receive the trial order and the money was out of my account. I was misinformed by this website, i did not see where it said by agreeing to this trial offer you also agree to pay for extra products. The amount of $87.47 was paid and i have not received my product.

June 1
I ordered my free trial bottle for $3.87. A week later the product had not arrived. I called to see where it was and they told me it shipped the day before and they gave me an extension from 10 day trial to 20 days. I asked the rep to give me the exact date for the end of the trial period and she wasn’t sure? I told her I was going to have to have an exact date so she thought for a bit then told me it was June. Given the lack of professionalism I pretty much already knew I was not going to continue to do business with them and marked my calander for June 1 as the follow up date. I recieved the product a couple of days after calling. I started taking it that day. The pills made me feel sick! I kept taking them thinking my body would adjust. On June 1 I decided I did not like them and went to cancel my account. They had already billed me $87.47 even though the rep told me I had until June. I explained to them what had happened but they refused to work with me. They insisted I needed to continue to take the pills for at least 2 months and tried to offer me all kinds of discounts. I told them to cancel and refund me my money, they refused so I demanded to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor acknowledged that the rep likely did not realize there were 31 days in May and told me the wrong date for the end of the trial. Even then they refused to refund my money. I told them I would let my bank handle it. They tried to tell me the bank would have to go by the notes in my account and that I would not get a refund. Do not listen to them. I am not the only person who had this exact same problem. Let your bank handle it and refuse any auto ship product. Share your story so we can save others from going through this!
June 2nd 2010
Talked to my bank (BOA) and they said they will put a stop payment and reverse charges once the $87.47 posts. Customer service for Nutrigenic Life told me yesterday that my account was canceled but after reading others complaints I decided to look closer at the email cancelation confirmation they sent. You have to read carefully... It reads, "Please take a few minutes to read the following AS WHEN YOU SUBMIT THIS FORM you automatically accept the following terms and conditions and confirming the order process. You are confirming that that your future subscription WILL BE CANCELLED effective as of today." This requires you to submit a form that they do not provide or tell you how to find. Many people have been under the impression that the phone call was good enough to cancel the account but were billed for more auto ships. Don't be fooled! Outraged, I called again. This time I informed them that I would be taking legal action and seeking a class action lawsuit. The customer service rep was certain there was a link in the cancelation email that should take me to the form but it was not there, nor did the message clearly state that you are required to fill out a form to complete the cancelation. I told her this was a big problem and would be an open and close case in the court of law. She assured me my account was cancelled and not to worry. I then told her I would not take a verbal confirmation and that I require a written statement that clearly states my obligations to cancel have been fulfilled considering I had already been misinformed by a previous rep regarding the end date of my trial period. Even though they admitted the rep likely told me the wrong end date for my trial period they were going to go by the date they put in their notes. Do not take their word, demand it in writing! After all this B/S the rep today told me my trial period ended on June 1, WTF? She said she is sending my account to billing to have everything cleared up. Mean time I intend to let my bank file a fraud complaint in case they were just trying to tell me what they thought I wanted to hear. To be continued…

I am a female, and i don't even remember ordering this stupid pill. It might have been from the same company, but i don't remember order a weight loss pill for men. Does anyone know where i can call to cancel this pill? i just recieved it, and looked it up on the internet to figure out what it was. It didn't look like a womens weight loss pill to me, so i went on the website, and they have NO customer service. If anyone can help me, it would be really great thanks!

There should be a number on the bottle for Nutrigenic Life, the distributor, but try 888-787-9668. Contact your bank and credit card co right away to make sure there has not been any unauthorized charges. It showed up on my account as: leanbodyburn8887879668 Panama . If you can't find the phone number on the bottle, check the other blogs. Good luck!

I ordered this product as well. It did not come within the trial period and I read the terms and conditions stating I will be charged if I do not cancel within the trial period. Day 9 and they pre-authorized my card for $87.47 and on that day I cancelled my trial period even though I did not receive the product yet. They offered to extend for another 10 days but since they were sure that the product has been sent out, I declined the offer and waited for my product. The charge on my card went away and within 4 days later I received the product. It's not a scam if you are careful. My product was late because I had ordered it the day before Memorial Day. Holiday's slow down the process and since I read the terms and conditions, I was able to get a free product without being charged. This is not a scam, you just need to be a bit more careful.

Yes, well as i stated before, I am a female, so i would not need nor would i want to buy a product specifically formulated for men, as the website states, it's not for women. So why would i buy the product in the first place. If they're going to charge me money for something i can't even use. It's not about being careful, it's about me, being charged for a product. I cannot even use. Maybe if it was something men and women could use then fine. I wouldn't complain. But since i remember, ordering a cleansing pill. I have a problem with getting something, and being charged for it, when it's not what i wanted.

I too called within the trial period to cancel and they tried to tell me they were not going to refund my money. I had to go through alot of B/S to get my money back. There was not a holiday to slow down shipping of my order but it was still late. It is a scam!!!

I ordered my product and I received it a couple of weeks later, but good thing that I had used a att rewards card. I called them the same day that I received my product, because I wanted to know if it was also for females and they told me yes, but that my account was canceled for insufficient funds. Guess what I was thankful to have used that card, because they would have taken the $80 something from my regular account. THANK GOD

I received my product 13 days after ordering and tried to cancel...was on the phone for well over an hour and all they can say is SORRY!!! This is the biggest scam EVER. I went on the site when I was on the phone and read them the quote for a 14 day trial and again it's Sorry, our offer is only for 10 days even though the customer service number I called was on the site for the 14 day trial!!!
Can anyone give me some help on how to get my $$ back???????

The same thing happened to me. I actually just called them back today because I placed my order on 6/7/2010 and I have not received my order. I called them on 6/15/2010 and they gave me an additional free 10 day offer until 6/25/2010 to allow time for my order to arrive. I just received a product in the mail today but it was not the product that I ordered. I ordered Acai Max Cleanse not Maximum Burn Xtreme. I looked up Maximum Burn Xtreme online and my research shows me that this product is actually for men. However, when I called them I explained to them what I received and the lady said that it is the same thing as Acai Max Cleanse. I called them and cancelled the product that I originally ordered (the product that I never received) and cancelled any future shipments. I am not sure what I need to do with the bottle of Maximum Burn Xtreme that they sent me. The lady I spoke with told me that I do not need to do anything with the product and that I will not be charged for it. She sent me an email with a link to cancel the account and any future shipments. I filled everything out and submitted the information to be processed. What should I do with the Maximum Burn Xtreme bottle that I received? Do I need to call the number on the bottle (1-800-440-4397) for Nutrigenic Life, LLC in order to cancel this product with them? I cannot believe how horrible their customer service department is. They are very rude and they push to sell the product. I would never order anything from this company ever again. I have never had a worse experience in my life.

I am so ANGRY right now!!! And I never buy things like this online, so I'm not sure why I got sucked in this time. I ordered the Acai Max Cleanse on June 2, was billed the small shipping fee on June 3 - it's June 21st and I still have not received anything and I see on my bank statement that they have billed me $92.95 on June 14th!!! WTF?!?!?!? I just called their number that they sent for the first and only confirmation/billing email after I ordered it (1-888-787-9668) after which they had me on hold for 2 minutes (saying that all service reps were busy and that my call was important to them, blah blah blah). THEN a new recording comes on saying that their system is having technical difficulties, and it hung up.
What do I do??? I live in Canada (if that makes any difference). The only "contact" I have for these people is that phone number - anyone have any other info?? Please help!!!

Does anyone have the company's e-mail? The phone communication with them is quite poor.

I purchased the Maximum Burn Xtreme and in the beginning I only filled out an application and did not finish the application. The next day a customer rep called me telling me noticed I did not finish the application and asked me why. I told him I felt it cost to much and even the 10 day trial period was way to fast and I was not about to pay 87.90 in 2 weeks without knowing if it really worked. The customer rep then told me that he give me (1) bottle for $32.90 and after 30 days if I could give a statement they could post as how the product worked. It was the special he was offering me. I felt that was fair and I agreed. The next day I looked at my bank account and I saw I had (2) charges. I called them and they had NO RECORD OF MY NAME, PHONE NUMBER NOTHING. They told me to call back. I called back and still nothing. I then had to call my bank and cancel out my card since I felt I was frauded on what they actaully told me. I will be more then willing to pay for (1) bottle but nothing further and also now they have my credit card and if they can't locate my information how can I cancel, I don't want to be stuck with continual charges. By the way I did recieve (2) bottles in the mail. :))))))

I sure wish I read these complaints BEFORE I ordered my FREE trial. I have never ordered anything like this before and I should have known better. If it sounds to good to be true IT IS. I will never do this again. I got a little worried when I didn't receive my order in 4 days, like the web page told me. So I called them on 6-28 and was told they couldn't help because the mail system was slow but I should be receiving it in a couple of days. They went ahead and extending my trial period until 7-10. So I started doing some looking on the internet and I didn't find anything encouraging. I don't know why but for some reason I used my debit card to purchase this. So I went ahead and on 6-28 after I spoke with the guy I called my bank and closed out that debit card I used with them and reordered a new one. This cost me $10 at my bank to do but it beats me being scammed out of $84.00. I called my bank today(6-29) to check my statement and they had not taking the $84.oo out yet. It has only been 8 days but hearing your stories I was worried. So when they go to take $84.00 they will be the one's SURPRIZED not me. I went to my mail box on 6-28 and my product was there. But like all of you I ordered Acai Max Cleanse and what I received was Maximum Burn Extreme. I just got off the phone talking to someone about cancelling my membership and they wanted to know why and I told them. Then she started saying she would send me a free month's worth and send me special promotions. I told her I just wanted OUT but thank you. Then she said they would send me a link to cancel my membership and gave me a CSRep name and a password. The name will be who ever you talked to and the password is still online. But she did repeat that EVERYTHING had to be in lower case and no spaces or no punctuation marks. I want to thank the person above that supplied the email address. If I had to wait until I got home to get it and there was another problem I would have to wait another day. GOOD LUCK to all still trying to get their money back.

I just finished talking to the lady on the phone (who sounded like a robot... but wasn't) and she said that I couldn't get my money back because I hadn't canceled within the trial period - except I didn't receive my order within the trial period, and when I tried to cancel, they wouldn't answer their phones and that form wouldn't work for me because I'm in Canada (therefore no ZIP code).
Finally she canceled my "subscription" which is a crock of shit, because I never signed on to receive more (but I guess that's what they don't tell you...) and she said that I couldn't get a refund because I didn't cancel in time. She said that I could get $49 back if I returned the next package that I receive... so I don't even get all my money back!!!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SO ANGRY!!!
Worse thing is, I feel like a total idiot for falling for this junk. So mad.
