Fraudulently Billed
I signed up for a free trail of "Pure Cleanse". Before the trial period was over, the company billed my credit card for $87.13 US. I had no idea that they had done this until I received my Master Card statement. I tried to call the company, but their 1-800 # had a rapid busy signal. I went to the website and found the following statement "domain name may be for sale by owner". Bottom line, there is no way to contact them. I called my credit card company and was transferred to the fraud / dispute department. They informed me that they had received many calls of this nature and that they were working with Master Card International to investigate these complaints. The credit card company stated that they would prevent any further funds from being stolen from me by issuing a statement to the bank that diet max deals with. They also informed me that "Diet Max" is now operating under another name. This is a scam. Aside from the financial aspects of this particular scam, the product not only doesn't work, it made me sick. They are associated with a company that also offers Acai Berry capsules as part of this scam. If this has happened to you, contact your credit card company immediately. Chances are you aren't the only person who got scammed. This is being investigated. The more complaints your credit card company receives, the more likely you are to get your money refunded.

Unauthorised credit card payments
This company has charged me A$100.22 & A$91.77 for the Diet Max pills, when I originally only ordered 1 bottle, I have now been charged A$76.16 for another bottle, which I have never received, or asked for. Since looking on the internet I see that a lot of other people have made complaints similar to mine about this company.

unauthorized CC Charge
Spent over an hour on the phone with customer service requesting cancellation and refund for a product we never received. Company refused to refund the CC charge. Company threatened to hang up on us because we would not budge from our refund request. Told company we would contact FCC and FDA with our complaint. They did not care. We disputed the charge with our CC Company who acknowledged additional complaints from other CC customers.

Diet Max scam
November 25, 2010
Charged on credit card for goods not received or wanted
Saw online ad about product. A new anchor woman talked about trying the two products for the news channel, believing it didn't work . She claimed to her amazement it did. The two products which are supposed to be taken together are Diet Max and Colon Cleanse. There were two separate charges. I have received the Colon Cleanse product for £59.75 + pp which was not the stated amount, and charge on my credit card on 3.10.10. The Diet Max was billed at £55.24 +pp. on 13.10.10. I did received the products but the cost should have been around £10 in total according to the advert. Then on 5.11.10 a further two charges from Diet Max was deducted from my card. I was very careful not to enter into any agreement for repeat order etc. as firstly I did not know if the product would do as it claimed and secondly after placing the order the email sent to me by the company stated that I would have to notify them if I required a repeat order, which I certainly did not do and have not received any further products just been charged for them without my authorisation. I have notified my bank of this scam and have cancelled my card so that this company can no longer charge me for goods not ordered. My bank is now dealing with this and an investigation is taking place regarding this company. Furthermore the product did not do as it claims either. When something sounds too good to be true it usually is. It certainly was the case with regard to these products. The only pounds I lost were from my bank.

charging credit card
I ordered the trial product over 2 months ago for $ 3.87 and still have not received it. I have been charged so far a total of $180.92 and still have not received a thing. I have contacted the company twice, the first time I was told if I cancel the order I will not even receive the trial product which I have paid for and promised they would credit $60 back to my credit card. The second time I was promised it had been shipped and could not be cancelled, when I asked to speak to a supervisor they put me on hold for 48 minutes until I could not hold any longer and gave up. They have since charged me more times, and now when you ring you just get a recording to say their normal business hours are Mon-Fri 9am - 7pm and to ring back then, even though that is when you are calling!! Total Scam and I will be reporting it and stopping my credit card. I have never bought things online for this reason, and now never will again.
