Maximum Burn Xtreme
On November 5th I ordered what I thought was a colon cleanse product offered as a sample for delivery charges only of $2.95. When I received my credit card bill today, I discovered that on 11/12/2010 they had also charged my account for $87.13 for a bottle of what I assume are diet pills called Maximum Burn Xtreme that I did not order. When I tried to call the number on my statement, I just get an "all circuits are busy at this time" recording. When I got on line to check out the company, I found another complaint from someone with about the same story. I will contact my credit card company tomorrow to see if the charge can be reversed. This scamming company needs to be shut down.

refund
I cancelled my order for Diet Max on Oct 1st because I was billed $87.47 before I even received the product (plus over $9 in "cross-border fees") was told it would take 10-15 business days to get a refund. I called on (business) day 17 and was told the refund was still in process. I called again on Nov 1 (business) day 21 and was told the "system is down and cannot access my account". I called again on Nov 3 and was told the refund was not posted back to my account and the conplaint would be forwarded to upper management, "3-5 busines days for refund". Called on Nov 9 (business) day 26 - was told there would be an "immediate refund in 3-5 business days". Called Nov 15 (business) day 31, was told "no refund posted to account, flagged for immediate review by upper management - 3-5 business days" (AGAIN). Called Nov 22 (business) day 36 "flagged for immediate review by upper management - 3-5 business days". Also EVERYTIME I called they said "don't worry, it will be taken care of". Here I am almost 2 months since I cancelled and NO refund yet.

Acia Berry 10 day free trial
I signed up for a 10 day free trial of the Acia Berry on 1st November, i received this free trial on 9th November. Since the 10 free trial ended the next day i tried to cancel before any monies were taken out of my account. No email was provided and the confirmation was from a "no reply" email. I tracked down the phone number for the company and called them to cancel, it took me a 15 minute call to the states (only number provided) only to receive an email to cancel, this i did, the 1st time i was unable to do this so i called the company back and was given the proper instructions to be able to submit the email. Since then i have had money taken out of my bank account by this company. I called them again on 19th November to be told that they had not received my email, this was another 15 minute call trying to sell me other goods, i was then sent another email to submit since they said they did not receive the 1st one. Since not receiving a confirmation email from the company i called again on 22nd November only to be told that it had been cancelled and i will not receive any monies taken from my account because i did not cancel before the billing date which was 9th November (10 day free trial did not end until 10th November).
When is a 10 day free trial not a 10 day free trial? When you sign up for Dietmax
Advice - Do not order from this company as they make it extremly difficult for you to cancel and it costs a fortune in calls from the UK to the states to do so not to mention they bill you before your free trial is even over, oh and not forgetting you don't receive your supposed free trial until the day you get billed for it.

Unauthorised charges
I saw an advert on the internet for a free sample of Acia Berry tablets, the only charge was to be for delivery at around $3-4. I have received the tablets but have found that they have charged three amounts to my credit card of £1.93, £0.94 and £49. The first charge would have been for delivery but I have given no authorisation for the second two charges and have no idea what they are for. Now that I have seen the other complaints against this company on your website, I realise that I have been scammed. Is there anything I can do?

FRAUDS
Watch out for these guys! DON'T BUY ! Once you sign up with the other diet outfit known as ProCleanse GOLD they will ask you to get this product also ! Stay away from all of this crap. They will screw you royally as they have with me and my family. Several hundred dollars by the time we finally got the bank to give us an address that they got because they had dealt with so many of their clients getting ripped off. All websites and phone calls were in vain as nobody responded or I got left on hold.
The following is what I was told to do and worked : send a registered letter to
To
Maxdiet
1348 Washington Avenue
Miami Beach FL 33139
State to them that you want all payment and services charged to your credit card # ending in the last four digits cancelled. Keep a copy of your registered letter receipt as it is a legal document which would hold up in court if need be. Now your bank will have the grounds to stand on if the company continues to take money from your card and their complaints and legal dept takeover from there. Hope this helps some of you, in case your wondering this is the Royal Bank of Canada and they were awesome to deal with, really helped me out with this situation. PLEASE TELL ANYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE CROOKS ( Dietmax and Procleanse Gold) They took money I won't likely get back but at least they won't get more and hopefully this helps some other poor soul from getting the shaft like we did.

Fraud
I tried the website that complaint Likolehua said to use to cancel nightmares with DietMax (http://www.xmorders/ct/) and it doesn't exist anymore. So I am still having nightmares after doing the stupid free trial of Nutura Cleanse and also received Maximum Burn Xtreme (mind you never did this company have terms and conditions) (the only terms and conditions were on Nutrua Cleanse). My credit card is being ripped off repeatedly by DietMax 8003202983 El Tecal PA. I'm talking $80.00 out of my account all the time and when you talk to customer service and they say they will send an email so you can cancel, BUT you NEVER GET IT. I'm retired and cannot afford this SCAM/FRAUD! What they are doing to everyone is off limits and they should be put in jail. Please someone do something about these companies. PLEASE HELP

Unhappy in Australia with Diet Max

Cannot get response from company
I stupidly subscribed to get diet pills from Diet Max. I still have not received the product - I've tried calling the Melbourne (Australia) customer service number but nobody answers. I've emailed them to say that I'm getting my bank to stop all payments and received a response to "contact customer service". Still sending emails and getting nothing back. BE WARNED - I RECKON THIS IS A BIG CON!!! WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.

charged twice and never received
Saw online ad about product. A new anchor woman talked about trying the two products for the news channel, believing it didn't work . She claimed to her amazement it did. The two products which are supposed to be taken together are Diet Max and Colon Cleanse. There were two separate charges. I have received the Colon Cleanse product for the stated $4.95. The Diet Max was billed at $2.95. My bank showed an extra $.08 for an international charge. This took place on 11/7. Then on 11/9 I was charged again by Diet Max, this time for $1.95 with and additional international charge of $.04. I have not received this product. I went to my bank and I will have to change my bankcard and proceed with fraudulent charges. One product without the other does me no good.
