Terrible internet provider with horrible policies and even worse service. I had Digis as an internet provider for almost 5 years. At first, service was good and speeds were ok. Problem is, they throttle your internet speed based on usage. Basically, if you use the service they slow your speed to an incredibly slow speed. This did not seem like a big deal, but the internet is changing with streaming videos, Netflix, Hulu and others. If you try and use this service with Digis as your provider, well, good luck. I was on the 7mbps plan, and was constantly throttled to less than 1 mbps. Service so slow, you couldn't even watch a YouTube video with the connection. It's ridiculous. I finally canceled my service, and to add insult, they continued to charge me for service because they had not picked up their equipment from my house (almost a month later). I received a bill for over $70.00 for service I haven't used for a month because they hadn't picked up their "equipment". I called customer service, and was told the came out once to pick it up, but the ladder was too short to reach my roof? Where did they think the equipment was, on the front porch? They installed it. I called back to find out why the equipment had not been picked up, and they rescheduled. Hopefully they bring a ladder, and hopefully I don't have to fight the bill they say is to ensure they get back their equipment they can't figure out how to get down. Bottom Line - slow internet speeds with throttling, horrible customer service, and dishonest billing practices.
