Double Charging
I got an email about purchasing Microsoft office 2007 for 99.99. I went to place the order and on the confirmation screen my grand total was 109.98 but after I pressed proceed to authorize the charge changed to 214.97. I called that number at the bottom of thier page and reached customer service after holding for an hour just to be shipped around. They did nothing for me at all and I had to conact my bank. The sad part is this is Easter Weekend and I had allocated that 109.00 and nothing more. My bank stated that they would help me, but I had to wait until the charge actually posted ( it was still pending). Now I am out 214.97 and that extra hundred dollars was to buy my children cloths for Church on Sunday. This was a very bad experience and I will never use or refer them again!!

Poor, poor, poor customer service
I am in shock that this company is a publicly traded company and that Microsoft deals with them. Digital River intentionally remains elusive to its customers. They post no chat or phone support. They send generic emails that do not address their customers' issues.

When I finally contacted Microsft and told them of my issues with DR, I asked if Digital River was a reputable company. Microsoft stuttered and refused to answer the question.

Upon finding this site, I found a number to contact Digital River. After waiting on hold for 12 minutes, I spoke with a company rep. who told me my order had not YET been shipped and then quickly sent me to another department where I remained on hold for an additional 35 minutes. When I finally spoke with the 2nd rep., she gave me a completely different story. She told me my order had been sent 2 weeks ago, Priority USPS, and that it usually takes around 3 WEEKS. She said they have no mail tracking abilities with Priority Mail, although their website says your order can be tracked.

Be careful with this company!! I have spent a good amount of money and time on them and have yet to receive a single portion of my order or get an honest response from them.

Wrongly charged to my Credit Card
I have been charged for a product System Soap by Digital River Commerce System. I did not request this product and do not have it on any of my present computer. I have tried every way possible to contact the company and been given the run around. I am not happy that this company has my credkit card details and using them to bill for a product i did not order or requirer. I have been trying to get them to reserve the charge to my credit card. There is no record on my computer that I contacted this company.
Are things so bad in America your business have to start ripping of New Zealander to make a buck.
I was charged $79.95 American on 19.03.09.

double billing
I recently upgraded/updated my Norton Anti Virus service. I received an email w/my order number etc. I was charged.$48.98. I received a second charge 3 days later for the same amount from www.DRI*Digitalriver.com or myord.com. The second charge was not authorized by me. Somebody has got to put a stop to this nonsense or ripping people off and double billing. I am thoroughly discusted at this company.

Unauthorized billing
I ordered a product only to learn that I would have to download it. I immediately canceled the order and still was charged for it. I even called on two different days to confirm the cancellation went through as well as the credit card company.Then, when I got my bill a month later there was a charge for a product that was received. They will not return my money.

unlawful charges
I dont even know who this freakin company is and they took 44.95 out of our account now I will freakin close my God dam account right now. Some body is going to pay for this my account is in the whole I had no money in my account who the hell does this company think they are, they are going down big time, I will close the account and that account will never get paid. I am so freakin pissed, someone is going to pay I have enough God dam financial problems now I have to close my account I have absoutely nothing. This company sucks and so does this country. You got some money hungry people out their you freakin nuts the God dam rich get richer and the poor get poorer .

Incompetent service
I have been trying to purchase Endnote X2 for Mac for over a month. My first delivery arrived within 14 days of my original order. Instead of Endnote it contained Studio MovieBoard. As per their directions I reported the error via their website. When I entered my credit card details Digital River informed me that I had placed an order for Norton AntiVirus! Eventually I was issued with a return authorization for Movieboard and told that Endnote had been re-sent. When the new package arrived it contained --- Studio MovieBoard.

overcharge
I just ordered 1 Microsoft Money Plus download program from you and was charged for 3 at a cost of $ 125.96This amount is a pending charge to my credit card.In fact I don`t think that the download was successful, because I can not find it on my computer

Paid for software download but didnt get it
I purchased student software from Microsoft through Digital River for $59 plus 6.95 for electronic downloading. There was an error downloading it. This problem started 10/3/08 and now it is 10/9/08 and I still haven't gotten my download or any help from Digital River. I have sent them emails once or twice daily and each reply is from a different person but the answer is always the same. It is a standard answer that makes so sense. I am being told to click on a link and when I do, I am asked for a password (which I never got).

Then you are told to click on an alternate link if you forgot your password so I click on this hoping they will send me another password. But now I am being asked for my university email address (which I don't have and I never had one).

Btw it's not needed, since I was given the download link without before. I have scanned all my receipts and registration from school to show that I qualified for this software and now I don't have it and no one cares.

There is no phone number for Digital River. No one ever addresses my questions, I don't think they read my emails, they just send the same reply over and over again.

I am now going to post a complaint on every board I can about this company. M3cents.com is next.

People - beware of Digital River. My next step is to write a complaint to my credit card company and if I have to write another one to Consumer Affairs then I will do that to. I have no idea if Microsoft is aware of how this company
Treats their customers. But I will try contacting them too.
