Camera bought on line SCAM
DIGITAL TECH GEAR "sold" me a cannon camera on a Yahoo related site, that I had to buy via a loaded Green Dot card ($400) I bought from Rite Aid. I entered the PIN as directed but never received the camera. When I went to their website it had shut down. I complained to Consumer Complaints and have never heard from them either. I've realized since there are others with a similar experience.
I think everyone except Digital Tech Gear is ligitimate, but you'd think they would be concerned about THEIR good name...by association at least.

fraudulent company!!
We also were scammed! This company is backed by "Yahoo" I contacted them several times and they didn't seem to care! I did contact the FTC(federal trade commission) online and filed a complaint. That was a month ago and have heard nothing. I am going to contact them today. The shocking part is that they are still up and running scamming EVERYONE who orders from them. I believe after getting "caught" they change their name and do it again. I am thinking of contacting the FBI next. It is enough we were scammed of $360- but seems so wrong that no one can stop them...BTW, I googled their "address" and it is not them but a building in Michigan that seems to have all CPA offices! I would bet they are not even located in Michigan.

Paid for iPod and never received product
My 14 year old daughter found a great price on an iPod Touch from this company and ordered it. They instruct you to purchase a Green Dot Money Card and email the number. She bought the card at CVS and then sent the number. They took the $180.00 cash and did not send the product. This company is a complete scam -- DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! This was money she earned babysitting this summer. When you do a google search of this company, the complaints are rampant. Research all companies you purchase items online from. I buy online all the time for my business and have never come across a scam like this. Why are they allowed to continue with their website? I complained to Yahoo because they indicate they are sponsored by Yahoo and haven't heard anything from them. You would think Yahoo wouldn't want their name on something like this and that they'd take care of it immediately.

took money and ran
DIGITAL TECH GEAR APPEARS TO BE A BOGUS BUSINESS FRONT THAT EXISTS AS A FRAUDULENT SCAM TO DEFRAUD UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMER!!
Digital Tech Gear’s website is run through Ecommerce by Yahoo which told me they must be legitimate. However, they have taken my money, but have not sent item purchased and paid for through Green Dot prepaid credit cards as their directions indicated I must use for payment. Check out their slick website but be warned that they are a fraudulent business!! http://www.digitaltechgear.com/
I purchased Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W220 through them because it is a discontinued item and I could not find it anywhere else. I followed all of their directions to the letter on about July 16 and was assured that when they received payment I would be sent a tracking code for the item as it shipped. That never happened. It is nearing the end of August and they have not responded to emails or voice messages. I referred the incident to my attorney who sent them a letter which was returned to them as the address was incorrect.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DIGITAL TECH GEAR!

fraudulent
i cannot believe this company is still posting their website despite being exposed to the frauds they are. The address on the website is a CPA firm who has filed complaints about them in their state. They do not answer phone calls or email and I guarantee they will never ship anything but will keep your money. It's quite astonishing that they are still at it.
It is too good to be true
