Fraud and misrepresentation!
I ordered a JVC Everio MG-21 hard drive digital camera DigitalExpo advertised for $289 + $14.95 shipping. They sent me an email asking me to call within 24 hours to confirm my order. When I didn't call, they called me. They tried to get me to purchase a battery with my camera for $150, telling me my camera battery would only last 15 minutes. I said no thank you. Then he told me the camera is refurbished. I said, "it did not say it was refurbished," and he told me this camera is discontinued! I said, "it is not discontinued; it is advertised all over the web." Then I said, "if it is refurbished, I want to cancel my order." He said, "okay thank you," and hung up the phone! This company should be banned from having a web site on the internet. Do NOT order anything from them!

Not professional business
Absolutely Not Professional Business.
The guy hangs up on me 3 times when I tried to confirm me order.
The fourth time he answered a phone with a cold & sleepy voice "Camera is Sold out".
I tried to confirm with him about my credit card will not be charged. He hung up on me. Now I am just wishing nothing will be charged to my credit card. I will keep an eye on my Credit account.
Please advise if you have a way to stop this type of business.
+ Do not trust EveryPrice.com. This is a reference site to DigitalExpo. Screw them both.

DO NOT order from these scammers!
DO NOT order from these scammers.
After ordering a digital camera as a Christmas present for my son, I received an e-mail with an order number and was instructed to call in to confirm my order. I suspected this was their way of having an opportunity to sell you more stuff. This was the case.
The guy that answered tried to sell me batteries, memory cards, extended warranties, you name it. I'm suprised he didn't try to sell me one of his family members. After politely declining his offers, he abruptly said "enjoy the camera" and hung up. I placed the order 2 weeks ago and still have not received it. So much for my son's gift being here for Christmas.
I called them to check on the order and the recording said they were closed. I can only hope they are closed permanently so that nobody else will have to deal with them. It's companies like them that make it more difficult for all the honest people.

Bait and Switch!
Digital Expo requires you to call back to 'confirm' your order - this allows their sales people to try to sell you more things. I suppose this is expected. On my camera order he tried to sell me batteries and "fast" memory.
What is NOT expected is that you THEN learn the item you just bought was refurbished, not new. The website neither says nor implies that this is the case. Surprise! The salesman then suggested that since it was a refurbished and "probably scratched up" camera that I should get the new one instead, which sold for a higher price than most of the competitors' new camera prices.
I mentioned that if the camera was visibly scratched, I would be sending it back, to which he replied that there was a 20% restocking fee for returns.
I then canceled my order. I only hope that the credit card does not get charged; I'll be specifically looking for that from these scammers.

Lies, no regard or respect for me or his company!
Seller was antagonizing while trying to "up-sell" me on camera accessories. Seller lied about battery and memory performance; I called him on his inaccuracies. He told me if I wanted a new camera vs. refurbished, I would have to buy the things he was trying to sell. The web site mentions nothing in regards to refurbishment. Seller called me STUPID and was obviously upset that I was catching his lies and would not buy more. Seller told me he was going to cancel my order. I told him I was going to report him to the BBB and he said he owned the BBB. He was laughing all the while and had no regard or respect for me or his company.

Sell refurbished like new ones!
I ordered a digital camera on the web and when I had finished it said to call to confirm the order. I did and the person asked why I had ordered a refurbished model instead of a new one. The website never indicated it was refurbished. When I told him I didn't want a refurbished one and to cancel it, he hung up on me. I now have to worry to see if they charged my credit card. They never responded with an email saying the order was cancelled.
