For the second time in 5 weeks I have been given the wrong amount of pills for my Dilantin 100mg. I have been taking this medicine for 57 years and NEVER have I had so much trouble trying to have 90 pills for 2 pills in the morning and 1 pill at night for 30 days.
That's an impossibility!!! I blamed Dr Raj Kumar my neurologist and Coventry insurance last time December 15, 2009 approximately. The doctor for putting it down wrong and Coventry for not honoring the 30 pills necessary to make the 90 as has been required and that I had paid for. I have done this since 1952 and was 10 years old. I am now 67 on Medicare and between your pharmacists, the drugstore manager and the CONGRESSMEN that would prefer we all just die sooner, they are all waiting impatiently for my demise by requiring that I take 60 pills over a period of 30 days--three per day!!
I asked the pharmacist if the prescription was corrected now to 90 pills for my Dilantin and she stated yes at 2:45pm today. The slip for Dilantin was stapled between two others but I took her at her word. I guess I must have them show me each separate sheet each time until I can find myself another drugstore or you find another pharmacist and manager who can count.
I will return to Walgreens tomorrow to request those 30 pills I paid for but did not receive. If denied, BBB and Representative Zoe Lofgren will be my first actions and then move on if need be.
