On October 12, 2010 I got into a heated discussion with another sales associate Sabrina for the Childrens Dept. which was my fatal mistake.
She as one of the "favorites" (and admits to it) of the store assistant operations manager Misty (last name unknown) and Joy Armstrong the childrens dept. This women is always late, calls in two or three times a month sick, and dosen't make her sales per hour by herself as other store associates and managers are required to use her AIN number to make her look good. And has bragged that all her write ups lateness, absences, not meeting her sales per hour are always shredded by the store secretary and assistant manager.
BAck to the point. I was called into the office and terminated for what I am still not sure. I was told that first a customer, and then a sales associate (Sabrina) complained I was rude to her.
Paperwork was pushed across the table to me and I was told to sign them. I picked the first document up and notice that the space for reason for termination was blank, I turned the paper over and where supposed to sign said that by signing I acknowledged that I received a copy of this form...I asked the the line be filled in and I get a copy then I would sign... Misty the assistant manager refused, asked on what grounds I was being fired for. She the office and came back and said article such and such, I asked to see a copy of the rules, refused. I asked to see my employee file to see what else was in there. I was again rufused. I was asked to sign another form (blank) I refused. This folks is the way Dillards works...half truth's, inuendo, lies and blank paperwork that they can out lord only knows what in. Just be one their favorites and you too can have your write-ups shredded and get away with murder.,
