rebate gift card for $150.oo
Switched from Comcast to Direct TV in January, they offered a gift card of $150.00. Have contected Direct Tv who has said the gift cards was on it's way since March. Now saying I don't qualify for it.
The person I signed up with verfied that I would get the card.
I have spoken to at least Direct TV customer sercvice people who said it was on it's way. I want my gift card.
It was also on TV advertised.

promises, promises
I will add this one to just one more of my complaints to them, (direct tv). I was promised over 8 months ago, for a free upgrade to the HD package, 4 free upgrades with two DVRs. I did receive two upgrades with one DVR, and then they never came back to do the other two. They tried to pull the wool over my eyes with the other two, saying I never made such an order. BS... This is just another example of how they do buisness. I still to this date have not received my other two upgrades, one other DVR HD and a regular upgraded HD. Telling me once again, that I never placed that order. Believe you me, I could tell you much more about how they practice there customer curtosy. I could go on and on, but I don't want to bore you. I also just read a complaint about a girl who ordered for her elderly folks, and was appalled. Everytime I call direct TV, I get a different answer from someone else. As being in the Military and Ex-Cop, I can tell when they are lying. Todays date, one supervisor told me that another supervisor put down that I was going to pay my bill in full on the 24th and I told the woman, "how could I tell him that I was going to pay the bill in full when I did even have the current bill in hand." I take it she was baffled. I also hope they wait just until the 1st of the month, which is one more day because I really thought for some reason that next Friday was a holiday, don't know where that came from, probably the Chemo I go through each week. I tell you, it's almost worth not have dish or directv or cable or anything, and just have regular tv, but here where I live we don't have much of a choice because we live out in the boonies, and I really think they know this. Enough said...

Returning Receivers
We just got a bill for 276 for two receivers that my wife has documentation of each request she has written to request boxes to return them.
We have had Direct TV for several years. We lost our home in Hurricane Katrina where we had Direct TV. We moved to Plano Tx and got Direct TV for our apartment, as soon as we bought a home we put a dish on it.
Last year we moved to the Houston area and attempted to put a dish here. The technicians could not find a spot in the trees to get a signal. Two weeks ago Hurricane Ike took two huge trees down and I said when they are removed let's try to get Direct TV, because we despise Comcast.
My wife got that bill today after many attempts to return the receivers and now she never wants Direct TV again. You guys are killing me!
