Their collection is illegal
Direcpath are the charge of maintenance of satellite cable and internet, every time that the spoils, that for true that occurs half of each month I have to call for they come and fix or restablish the sign and after this I have to pay to DIRECPATH 65 dollars for the technical comes to my house and this is every month I discovered that this collection is illegal ... because they are the owners of system not the tenants of complex direcpath ... install and what does the Maintenance time they must of meeting no charge me money additional.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with
This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I was forced to use them with my apartment complex. When I got stuck in my 1year contract I also tried to get the internet. The technition came out and said my hardware was not compatible with the internet service. So I could not have it. Now I have problems with my DVR and Direct Path will not send anyone out to repair it because they say I owe 400.00 for internet service. So I explained their technition said I could not have it because it would not connect to my computer so I never had the service. They said yes I see those notes, but they said I should have called to make sure there was no bill for me. So now I have a contract with them, and cannot use my DVR box. So she said she will send the complaint to the billing department and they should contact me in 5 to 7 business days, but until then I cannot have a tech come out. What a bunch of idiot, the notes are clear, the tech said I could not use the internet service they provide. I hope no other apartment complex contracts with them.

Their customer service is in the Phillipines and they don't answer their Atlanta phone
How does a company like this stay in business? Their customer service is in the Phillipines and they don't answer their Atlanta phone. I made a payment and my check was cashed but yet nine days later they tell me it hasn't been posted to my account - and no one can help me. It's pathetic because I have no choice but to stay with them because my complex has a "contract" with them. That was ignorant on their part but I do have the ability to report them to the FCC which I will be doing after I send this!

They are the most horrible internet service provider I have ever had to deal with
For anyone who doesn't believe me check the link. I get CONSTANT 10-20% packet loss with a constant F or D rating through www.pingtest.net. They are the most horrible internet service provider I have ever had to deal with and I have lived in other countries and had better internet service then these clowns. I WOULD NEVER recommend these people to anyone. There customer service is a joke to say the least, no one knows what the hell they are talking about they make you think its your fault your internet is crap. DO NOT USE THEM and save yourself the frustration.

Dealing with direct path has been the worse experience of my life
Dealing with direct path has been the worse experience of my life. They charge you for their own mistakes and on top of that they can never fix the issues with the internet or tv cable. Save yourself from dealing with them. The customer services representatives are always repeating themselves and they can never help you out. All they do is try to take more money from you. If your tv or internet is out today it take them a week to go fix when they show up. I rather have no tv them deal with this company that hopefully will go bankrupted soon.

This company is laughable at best and a poor excuse for an Internet provider
So I have had direcpath for a year now due to AT&T not having any open "Internet slots" in my apt complex. Since then there have been outages for entire weekends (I'm typing this on my iPhone as we speak), promises of refunds for said outages that have never come to fruition, supervisors that have lied to me, customer service representatives who have basically told me "tough luck" when the Internet is out... And every phone call they receive, they try and talk you into a service plan. A service plan?!?! They can't even get a technician out in a timely fashion to fix THEIR OWN problems... And they want me to spend money to have "peace of mind" on repair issues?! Please, this company is laughable at best and a poor excuse for an Internet provider. My suggestion to direcpath- get customer service people that reside in the US, a better monitoring service, and more technicians before you start holding entire communties hostage to your piss poor business practices.

DirecPath is constantly disappointing me
DirecPath is constantly disappointing me. They set the standard for how bad an internet provider can be, as well as how frequently a company can lie to its customers. They can't deliver the speeds that they promise, they can't maintain a low latency network. For the last few months I have been promised upgrades "in the next two weeks" and nothing to show for it.

I am actually going to move apartments because i can't get any other service. I hate them.

I absolutely hate their billing system
I had Direcpath for over 2 years. I abslolutely HATE their billing system. I received bills less than 10 days from the due date. Even if I paid my bill online the day I received the invoice, many times I would still be charged a late fee. I only had internet service with them. My invoice was $20 and the late fee $15. I never have a problem with any other bill and never receive late fees. After cancelling service, I had to mail in their equipment at my own expense. I asked if there was a location to drop off the equipment. Of course not!

I would not recommend this company to anyone else
I am in an apartment complex that the only services available to us is DirectPath which is like this sub-contractor of Direct TV. It is quite irritating because our cable is always going out. It goes back and forth from one television to another. I am so tired of calling Direct Path only to let them tell me that someone will be out in about a week. So that's 7 days without cable. I have been living in those apartments for about 2 1/2 months and my cable has been out 4 times. Yes 4 times so that's four weeks on 4 different occasion that i had to wait for someone to come out. I am very irritated with Direct Path and I think that the whole set up of Direct Path going through Direct TV is very confusing. You call one company and they send you to the other one. Something needs to change, I would not recommend this company to anyone else and if i had the ability to cancel my services i would but unfortunately for me, this is the only company that service my apartments.

This company sells a cadillac and then delivers a pinto with hidden fees
I've been forced to use this company for years and have had nothing but problems. Their customer service is horrible because once they get a contract in a community, they basically hold the residents hostage. My only option other than them is to use Comcast, which I refuse to do.

My problems have included them cutting off my TV service even though the TV bill was paid. They said they turned it off because my internet bill wasn't paid...funny enough my internet was never turned off. So even though I paid for cable, they blocked my access.

On another occassion, my cable went off without any reason. When I contacted them, they said they could send a tech in 3 days. When he finally got there, he found that another tech had accidentally knocked my cable loose in the cable closet. Did they do anything to make up for my loss? Nope, not even refunding part of my monthly bill for the days I was without cable.

Lastly, now that I want to upgrade to HD, Direct TV will sell me the HD DVR for $99, but Direcpath won't give me that same price, they want to charge me $250. Collective bargaining as a community should give us better deals, or at least the same, not worse.

Check out their various "fees" for every little thing, including a $3/month fee if you want a paper statement and $50 "installation fee" just to give me a new cable box that I could easily install myself.

This company sells a cadillac and then delivers a pinto with hidden fees.

I'd love to find another company that provides similar services to residential communities. I will be actively pushing our Tech Committee to find a new provider.
