The ad for Direct e-Cigarettes' "free trial offer" is VERY MISLEADING. Yes, the initial package arrives for only the cost of shipping.
BUT, within a period of less than fourteen days, you must take steps to cancel or be charged over $100!!!
You must scroll all the way down the screen--below the three opportunities to ACT NOW!--to locate, in small print, the phrase "terms
and conditions." When you click on that, you will get the Terms and Conditions in regular print--with enough warnings to discourage
your making the purchase! (Guess why they are not offered on the lead page!)
When I called to register a complaint and get the charge dropped, I was brusquely told to "read the terms and conditions." Only after I hunted
them down was I aware that I had been indeed "hooked" into this scheme.
Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS! Stay away from companies that do business this way. I will!
