For over 2 yrs I have paid for the HD package and for over 2 yrs I have not received HD on my local channels
For over 2 yrs I have paid for the HD package and for over 2 yrs I have not received HD on my local channels[abc nbc cbs fox]World Series, Super Bowl, NFL, March Madness, and etc...Recently I was told to get an antenna if I wanted those in HD.I am told also that as soon as they launch another satelite everything will be as it should be. What about all of these payments that I have made for very little HD SERVICE?Something seems to be wrong. This satelite excuse is the same one that I was given when I first signed up for HD.FIX THIS!!!

The change (without notice) is a deal breaker for me
Why did Direct TV change its music provider from Serius XM to Sonic? If it was the cost I understand as Sonic in my estimation offers a much reduced listening experience. The change (without notice) is a deal breaker for me when my present DTV contract expires.

I would never recomend them to anyone and I would tell everyone to stay away
I switched to directv and had them for 5 days, when I decided to go back to my old carrier I was then informed of a 2 year contract (that had not been mentioned before this) and that by canceling service I also forfet the over $300 in deposits I'd already paid to them plus for canceling I now would also owe another $460 for the contract I new nothing about. I was miss informed of everything including what I needed at installation. Now they have called me back and told me they can wave the $460 but I will get none of my other money back. Plus they are now going to automatically take the money due for the 5 days I had service off of my credit card and when I told them no they could not due that and I would send it to them they told me that was not possible. I would never recomend them to anyone and I would tell everyone to stay away.

They are the worst, do not get their service or you will regret it
Don't trust DirecTV. everytime I have called in with a question or concern they have given me the run arround. I had called to get service in another room in my house and they charged me $50.00 to my credit card my bill came out and as I was reviewing my bill statement I was charged for the same $50 and to get a credit for the overage charge was so hard, the customer service reps they have working have no clue!! They are extremely rude!!! My last call to them was to request an extension on my payment the rep was not as bad as the rest she told me your extension is approved. I wake up this morning with my cable disconnected I call in and the rep tells me yeah I see when you called and that the extension was approved but it was never applied to your account.So now I have to be with out cable for someone elses fault and not doing their job!!! THEY ARE THE WORST EVER!!! DO NOT GET DIRECTV SERVICE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Do not even think of signing of any of their bundling offers
DO NOT EVEN THINK OF SIGNING UP FOR ANY OF THEIR BUNDLING OFFERS!!! They quote you a low price for bundling with AT&T for about $70 a month and my first bill was over $400. They told me that I never submitted the rebate which they never told me I had to do and I never got any rebate forms. My bill is never correct and they never told me on the phone that there was no contract but now are telling me that when I signed for the installation that I signed a 2 year deal and it is $300 to cancel. They specifically told me when I signed up that there was no contract at all. I have called them at least a dozen times to fix the issue but they refuse and threaten my credit.

20 months of awful service and they want to charge me $80 to cancel 4 months of my contract! Besides having to choose between HD and local channels because of the dish placement, the VERY SLOW lag time between channels, $100 +5.00/mo to add another tv set, 30 mins on hold (telephone the ONLY way to cancel) ONLY to have the operator hang up on me once I was finally connected! Then after calling back the rep was rude and ended up hanging up on me again. They will get their crappy money from me for 4 months, but I will tell EVERYONE do NOT use DIRECT TV. Oh...did I mention that I have "lines" on the top 1/4 of my screen due to POOR reception?!

DO NOT TRUST DIRECT TV ! All cable companies, I won't name names other than DTV are scam artist but DTV takes the cake! The ONLY good thing I can say about them is that their technical service people are very good, (because they get sooo much practice). They will raise prices with out notice, Not tell you up front about the 400 plus $ it will cost to get rid of them if you're dis-satisfied with their crap receivers-service.We have had nothing but problems...3 receivers, continual 771 codes (no signal), we have to do all this by phone After a 5 minute session with a computer to get to live help.Luckily we have a stand by box (that they were supposed to, but never installed) we have stupidly been paying for all this time. With out it we would have had no service for days..
THE WORST OF THE BUNCH, AND... THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR FALSE ADVERTISING.

29.99 is not really that price, it isn't even able to be explained. The customer service is really bad, I would never, ever, ever try to use Direct TV for our satellite connection again...the only way you can get rid of them is to close your bank accounts and cut up your credit card...

I am a past customer of DirecTV . I had the worst service from this company with absolutely no customer service that ever corrected the situation. I keep getting mail from them (once a week)even though I have requested that I be taken off of their mailing list. I would NOT use this company even if they offord me lifetime free TV. I think it is a crime that a company like this allowed to operate in our country. I was lied to by several people that said they would resolve the problem (I still have their ID numbers)and charged for services that I never received.

Rodney #10023187 did not care at all about satisfying a long time customer
I can't believe that a direct TV supervisor quoted his script and would not acknowlede that a tv controller less than one month old should be replaced by the company at no charge instead of charging $15. We have been a long time customer, upgraded and received a new controller. Before a month's time, the controller quit working. Rodney #10023187 did not care at all about satisfying a long time customer. His voice was matter of fact and never intended to even consider helping me.
