Unauthorized charges
I purchased a disasteraid kit for $1 and 3.95 shipping. My credit card was then charged $99.95. I want my money back. I will gladly send the "Kit" back. I DID NOT agree to that!!! This is a fraud. The items in the "Kit" can be purchased at the dollar store for less than $10. I contacted the number on my credit card statement and the very unfriendly lady said that I needed to contact an email account for a refund. It is also unprofessional that you don't even have a phone number where you can speak to a live person. I would like to be contacted via phone to clear this issue up.

Fraud Rip off
I was scammed as well. While paying my Capital One bill online I got a popup that asked me to do a one minute survey on Capital One in return I could choose a free gift. I chose the DisasterAid kit thinking it would be useful in the car in these times of bad weather. I was told I needed to pay $3.99 plus $1.00 shipping and handling in order to receive the free gift. The picture showed a maglite looking flash light, a weather radio, an emergency blanket in it's own bag, a first aid kit and much more. What I received was worthless junk that Dollartree wouldn't even sell. I received my Capital One credit card bill and noticed I was charged an additional $95.95. I called Capital One to complain and now the game begins. I was told by Capital One this is actually an Adult Website. My question is if they know this, why charge customers for a Disaster Aid Kit, looking at all the complaints you would think they at least knew this was a scam.
After learning of the thief on my card, I looked up the company and read the fine print. One statement says I had 10 days to send this free gift back and another says 15 days. I am now past 20 days and hoping they will understand we had been snowed in for over a week with little or no mail delivery. I am hoping to get my money back and that this doesn’t turn out to be more of a problem. I requested the RMA, but have not heard from them yet.
I enjoy buying things on line but these scams are making me not trust anyone...If we stop buying our country will be in greater economic trouble. America can not remain the superpower we are if she is built on lies and scams.

OVERCHARGE
I ordered an advertised disaster aid kit for $1 with an additional $3.99 for shipping and handling. Received the kit and 11 days later there is a charge on my card for an additional $99. For what???? The kit consisted of a dollar tree flashlight, a pair of blue rubber gloves, 3 paper face masks, a $2 plastic radio, a bandaid kit, and a plastic poncho. No where in the advertisement was it mentioned that there would be any additional charges. I am appalled at the blantant robbery from a company that poses as a help source for others. In this time where disasters are occuring everyday and unemployment (and I have recently been laid off) is a paramount issue, this bait and switch tactic is deplorable. I want my money back!!!
