If you live in Charlotte you have probably passed this store located on Easway Drive a million times. Well- DON'T GO IN!! We purchased a three piece living room that was supposed to be in stock (it was supposedly on the truck being unloaded as we spoke). Needless to say, after paying for it we discovered it was not. After being apologized to, we were promised a similar set. It was delivered two days later with the wrong color armchair! It took a full month for them to finally admit they couldn't get the correct color. Throughout all that time no one EVER called to tell me anything and when I called the salespeople acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.
I filed a complaint and the owner had the nerve to call and ask why I tried to "get him in trouble"! Unbelievable! After finally getting him to give us a refund for the value of the armchair, he told me that the request had to go through corporate office and a check for the amount would arrive in 7 business days. Well, of course that didn't happen. I finally had to go ballistic on a salesperson after being told that AJ (the guy who had put us through this ordeal) wasn't in. This was after being promised the day before he would be.
One hour later the salesperson delivered my refund, in cash, to my home. He also told me that there was no corporate office and that AJ was part owner of the store! WHAT A LIAR! TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!
