I ordered by phone. The person who took my order was Dave, the owner of the company. I ordered 2 couches with storage and 2 captains chairs. The furniture was to ship from California on June 10 and arrive approximately June 14 or 15. Due to the delivery truck breaking down, the furniture did not arrive until June 23.

Discount Van Truck hired a trucking firm for the transportation of the furniture and that company subed the work to another trucking company, whose truck broke down in Texas. For days, the truck sat and Discount Van Truck, did nothing. When the furniture finally arrived, it did not have the storage drawers, as ordered. When I called Dave, he said he did not remember me ordering the couches with storage and further said that he e-mailed me the invoice which showed what was ordered and that I should have said something then.

My response was the invoice states Hampton RV sofa bed with arms and how was I to know that it also needed to state and storage. At the time of my order, the web site did not show prices and item codes for the various items. It has now been up-dated and does show the item codes and costs. That was the end of that conversation -- no resolution.

We also noticed that the left arms on both Captain Chairs would not extend to a level position (it is slightly elevated) and the skirt on the Captain Chairs was too short, allowing you to see 5 inches of metal power bases. I had been calling Jerry, ext 105, for assistance. Although Jerry was very kind and patient, he listened to my problems and promised to talk to Dave and call me back.

Unfortunately, he never got any resolution from Dave, so he never called me back. The last conversation I had with Jerry, I told him it would be my last, but that I wanted to tell him how disappointed I was and that I would not call again (I actually had their 800 number memorized). He said he was sorry and thought that Dave was going to return my call. When I stated that Dave did not call, he apologized for Dave. I told him Dave was the one who needed to be apologizing.

I just want anyone who is thinking about purchasing anything from this company to be aware. I am not satisified with the quality of the furniture and they are not interested in trying to resolve issues.
