I also received a text in Oct.09 about the walmart gift cards. I had been told I would be charged $9.90 for the gift card, ( which I never received). I had staded in the "recorded" call that I am using a credit card with fraud protection & will only agree to the $9.90 fee, it then went into a home protection, magizines, about 6-7 ? recorded "do you want to try this" I had VERY clearly said NO-NO-NO...my credit card has had hundreds of dollars charged on it which have been reversed by my bank, we even cancelled that card & they somehow charged my new card which they don't have number of. Today an "unavaliable" call came in with a lady stated I agreed & owe them for magazines for 5 yrs. & my account is going into collection I told her I did not agree & refuse to pay them anything. She was willing to give me her phone number (i didn't take it) I wanted customer service number & she refused to give to me. I need to know if anyone knows what to do about this scam.!

they begin billing your account for some "appliance insurance" never discussed. After the "trial period" you start
getting unexpected magazines which causese you to check your account only to see biweekly deductions of 49.95, 39.96
They use some bogus recording saying you authorized. Then
try to charge YOU to cancel.
