raised my rate 2 months after i signed a 2yr contract
i signed a 2 yr contract with dish network in november 2010 .my basic rate for was 31.99, after 6 months i would be charged $6 a month more for "service protection", putting my bill for the next 2 yrs at 37.99 a month.this was a special deal i signed in under. By february(4months later) they decided to up thier basic rate to $36.99 a month .when i called and told them i was under the contract for the $31.99 plan for 2 yrs they said that my deal was a $15 discount on my basic rate for 2yrs.not $31.99 .they can raise prices when they need to basicaly. so i tried arguing with them about it, got nowhere. now i am being charged the $6 taking my $31.99 a month bill up to $42.99. i called back..explained it all again..he said the $6 had kicked in but it was an optional fee for a service protection, would have been nice to know that(blah blah)so i will cancel that. i mentioned that i started out under a contract for 31.99 and he said the same thing..they can raise thier prices as they see fit and that i am only guaranteed the $15 a month off the package i chose. i think this is a rip off!!! first of all if i had known my $31.99 could jump up at anytime i would never had signed a 2 yr contract knowing the price was gonna go up in 4 months.i am locked in a contract and cant get out or i will be punished if i do but you can change your prices anytime you want and im stuck paying what you want me to pay..this is wrong. i want my original deal or i am contacting my lawyers(believe me i have them, they are thru a memeber ship i have called prepaid legal!) and i will fight this. fix it or you WILL hear from my attorneys about this.this is fraudulant action!!!

over charge
this people tell you that their going to charge you one amount then for the first 3 months the do it after that they start sending you bills with a differnt amount now if you call costumer servise they charge, you send payments and they always tell you that the payment is late they charge you.they make it so difficult, if you have a problem with a reciver and you need help you are afraid to call because they charge you, I have not use my second reciver for over 10 months because its disprogram but they are charging me for it but they do not tell you that it hasn't being use and that they are not going to charge you they just keep adding to your bill I don't call because they put you on hold for a long time and they charge you for speaking with someone, this is just too much people like me work hard to earn my money I do not know why the goverment do not regulate and do somethig about it I want awsers to my complaint real anwers.

violation agreement/complain
ON May 12 2010 I had an agreement/contract it was clearly mentioned
that i will be receiving the following service for 24 months.
1.america's top 120
2.hindi zeetv & sony
3.pak mega pack 14 channels
on Aug 06 2010 one channel of pak mega pack (channel 678 indus vision)
is no longer available on dish.
There is no one from dish net work to resolve my problem. I am getting service of 13 channels instead of 14 channels of pak mega pack.
I already mailed /email complaint but there was no response. Please help.

Overall Service & Treatment
I have been a Dish Customer for about 8 years. The first 6 were not bad, a couple of issues, but resolved to my satisifaction. The nightmares started 11-08 when my wife asked to the ability to record TV programs. I updated to a new receiver with record function, as well as upping service to include HD reception. These changes resulted in increasing my monthly account to a little over 90.00 a month. I was to get HBO and Encore for 90 days free, HA HA. I was charged for these after 30 days. It took 2 phones calls but the charge finnally went away. Then issues began. I have had 2 recievers replaced, losing everything recorded each time. I have paid to get trees trimmed as they supposedly were in line with satalitte giving me connection issues. This was proven wrong after 2 more visits. I have had 2 additional srvice calls since. Now they tell me my payment was returned by my bank as I had provided an incorrect "routing" number. I pay the vast majority of my bills "on line" and other than this happening about 3 years ago with "Dish" I have had no problems. Once this happens, you are unable to pay "on line" for 6 months. Their site for on line payment needs updated. In addition to these issues HD fades in and out as do fluctating audio signal. I can tell you once my contract is up and no penalty is envolved I am GONE GONE GONE. I told customer service rep that on 2-12-2010 and she cared less. Thanks for listening.
