OUTRAGEOUS CANCELLING FEES
I WAS COERCED INTO SIGING UP FOR DISH PROGRAMING, BY, A VERY SMOOTH TALKER STATING THAT HE WS GOING TO UPDATE MY EXISTING DIRECT TV, WHICH TURNS OUT TO BE A LIE, AS, HE REPRESENTED BOTH SATELLIATE CO'S.
THIS TOOK PLACE ON 09/13/2010. AFTER INSTALLSTION THE NEXT DAY 09/14/2010 I WAS COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS SYSTEM.A PERSON HAS TO SELECT THE CHANNEL TO WATCH BY PUSHING THE REMOTE
2 TIMES, NEVER HEARD OF THIS.AND THE PROGRAMS THAT I HAD BEEN WATCHING ON DIRECT TV WERE NOT ON DISH ALSO THE SETUP AT THIS TIME AND THE MONTHLY CHARGES, WERE TO BE BILLED AUTOMATICALY, TO MY BANK CARD EVERY MONTH, WHICH I COMPLAINED ABOUT, BUT, AS TOLD IN ORDER TO RECEIVE
THESE PROMOTION CHARGES, IT HAS TO BE BILLED TO MY BANK CARD, WHICH $47.00 WAS DEBITED TO MY CARD IMMEDIATELY.
I CANCELLED MY DIRECT TV AGREEMENT AFTER BEING A CUSTOMER FOR 9 YEARS.
ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES I HAVE MADE.
AFTER CANCELLINING DISH TV NETWORK, AROUND THE 15th OF DECEMBER 2010.
THEY REQUESTED FOR ME TO SEND BACK THE EQUIPMENT, WHICH I DID AND MY CONFIRMATION #50148851.
NOW ON MON THE 12th OF APR.2011 I RECEIVIE A COLLECTION NOTICE FROM
ERS SOLUTIONS INC FOR THE CANCELLATION FEES WHICH ARE WAY OUT OF MY BALLPARK.
I LIVE ON A SS FIXED INCOME AND CAN NOT PAY THIS OUTRAGEOUS CHARGES.

Was is Dish Network able to access my credit report?
I recently had a horrible experience with 2 different Dish Network personnel. I was attempting to have Dish TV installed where my husband lives and works during the week, 180 miles from our home. I spent an hour adding this new location to our account. Then I was given a person who was to "verify my identity". Because I don't know what is in my Credit Report, I was turned down. I was very rudely told to correct my Credit Report and call back ... are you serious?? First of all, I don't think Dish Network should be able to access my Credit Report and secondly not knowing what's on my Credit Report has absolutely NOTHING to do with hooking up Dish Network. I was rudely told differently. According to my monthly bills with DISH, we pay DISH in advance each month. I called customer service and was given the same run around by another very rude employee. My husband doesn't have internet at this "home away from home" so it would have taken another 5 days to even try to correct our report. How does a person do that anyway? I immediately called Direct TV and the system was installed the next morning. We got the same channels for less money and the whole system works better than DISH. I have been a Dish Network customer for a number of years but after this incident am seriously considering get Direct TV.
