Harrasment
On Feb 2007 I took a DISH TV connection from Pune (Maharashtra) as I was really encouraged by the advertisement by Sharukh Khan “Don’t be SANTUST, WISH karo DISH karo”.
It was a 6 months free connection and after the installation it started working fine. In the mean time i.e. on September 2007 I had to relocate to Bangalore (Karataka) for the change of my job.
Then onwards I am continuously facing harassment by the DISH TV services.
After settling down in Bangalore I had requested for the re-installation of the equipment and that took 1 month for them to activate the service.
I had made a payment of 800/- for the package MAXI-BANGLA on OCT 2007 through my credit card and then onwards I have registered 12 complains for not receiving all the desired channels.
For the last one month I have continuously followed them up with all the complaint no but every time they come up with same excuses like
• Invalide mobile no of customer.
• I will receive call from their senior within 2 hrs etc etc.
I dont know what to do and how to take action against these customer harrasments.

Subscription Renewal
Dish TV website is not at all consumer friendly, on renewal of subscription after providing financial details it will never give any confirmation message of the payment and no invoice copy. When called up at Call centre, executive will lodged the complaints or forward the call. Pathetic service.
Solution: In case you want to do the payment do it manually rather than using DISHTV website, I dont think it is secured website.
Till date I am trying to get an acknowledgement of the money I paid, if anybody knows any management representative contact details plz post it.

debit charges
signed up for a friend to dish tv and paid the 49$ sign up fee with my debit card and the person i signed for canceled the service and dish debited the account for 188 for the remaining months. i felt like i didn't owe this and called up visa and they agreed to do a investigation and put the money back in my account the same day they also paid several overdrafts due to dish taking out the 18. they also said we don't let dish do this and after the investgation dish paid them the money back so i got my money back. my advice; don't even call dish just call the number on the back of your debit or credit card.
several months later dish also debited 100$ more for equitment not returned and i called visa again and they put the money back in again the same day and after their investgaation dish admited they had the equitment and visa took care of it again. don't trust dish network to honor anything they promise. their mot honest and just out to get your money. again call your debit credit or bank when this happens because dish is not going to help you

no service after renewal
The renewal for three months was paid in Oct. inspite of several calls services remain disrupted,as on today the 16 Nov.
Each time I am told it will be restored within 24 hours.
Extremely disturbing!

no response to repeated complaints
I had taken one of four Dish TV connections in the month of Aug 2007.
After a week or two of viewing the channels, certain channels went of the air.
After some time, when the India-Australia one day series started, I found that I was not receiving any of the Doordarshan channels. On further checking I found that most of the lesser channels were not being recd.
I contacted the local dealer who had installed the set a number of times, however no one showed up. On 29th of Sep I lodged a complaint with Dish TV on tele, due to no response from the dealer.
Despite phoning a number of times, and leaving my details, no one from Dish TV has bothered to contact me at the numbers left with the customer care agent, every time I called.
Standard replies that you will receive a call, shortly have never materialised.
Necessary action may pl be undertaken to resolve my problem. I notice that there are other channels going off the air.
My Dish Tv code is 015-0432-5599-9, under the name of Major Pawan Kumar, 3 Inf DOU.

No access & poor response of customer care access
My VC no 0150 180 3762 Since 29 july their is no access of paid channels as it is valid till october. First of all customer care does not respond & even if they respond they show their inability over service.
Since last one week customer care people ask us to keep our TV on on 662 channel which is not at all getting accessed its really painful for one week we are not getting channels because of some bodies fault we are losing our money these is really a harassment.

Arbitrary behavior, non-responsive customer care
I subscribed to Dish TV 1 year ago (a huge mistake! I now think) Soon, I started having all sorts of troubles. One day they disconnected the service citing some charges. I interacted with their Customer Care and disputed the charges. They reversed the charges finally, and restored the service. Now 1 month ago, they again, disconnected the service. Upon inquiry, I found they were again bringing back the issued settled earlier. I mailed the earlier email etc and asked for detailed statement of charges and/or restoration of service. But there is no response despite several reminders and phone calls.
I am an extremely frustrated victim of this SCAM called DishTV & their "Customer Care".

No response from customer call centre
Our VC no 015 0180 3762 of dish tv there is no access of too many channels, we have made payment through M/S Shubham telecom pvt. ltd. Secunderabad of RS 660/ dated 17-07-07 but still we are not getting channels more over we are trying to contact customer care centre no 040-40151581,2,3 but no response to our phone call either they are not lifting or or getting engaged we are helpless and unable to contact dish tv pl guide.

Don't waste your money purchasing Dish TV!
My bad luck i through my hard earn money for buying a dish tv, i have contacted to all concern person either dish tv people or dealer person, still of no use, when contacting at dealer point he says, tell us ur dues, to get the dues you have to go through the online site of dish tv, any how i try to log on there but still ever after 30 days waiting for the user name and password confirmation.
Second my dish tv is not even showing free to air channel, i dont know these dish tv people comes under Indian rules or not.
My dear friend i suggesting you not to waste ur money purchasing a dish TV.

Error in set top box & remote
I purchased the product from g.r.movers shahjahanpur u.p. which was properly installed by their engineer but now only after 1 week some of free and all paid channels are not coming as well as remote is also not working.
Customer Beware!!!
