POOR SERVICE AND PRICE INCREASES
My story of woe begins with my 2-year commitment to DishNetwork. Their committment to me turned out to be to raise my prices constantly and change my channels. I wrote to them three quarters thru my 2-year committment and sent the letter to their "Dispute Resolutions Department" detailing my frustrations about their service to me and while they admitted they received my letter they did not answer it. So much for the "Dispute Resolutions Department".
They made some adjustments to my service after my call to them, only to have my price back go up again in the next two months. I accused them of only wanting to get new customers, meanwhile letting their old faithful customers who paid their bills on time, languish.
When my commitment expired I called to cancel my service and there was a whole new attitude on their part. They were going to offer the moon. I had enough of DishNetwork and wanted to end the service. They then told me I would have PAY to send back THEIR equipment. I became irate and hung up on the representative.
They got even with me and DIDN'T cancel the service. This is avery DIRTY practice on their part. I had to pay for another months service. I will never deal with DishNetwork again.

treated rudely bysupervisor
i called dishnetwork on 8 09 2010 and talked to a man and tryed to make arrangements to pay my bill and he told me they had a one time a year deal where i could make a ten day promise to pay my bill in full and i told him that wouldent work for me becouse that would make it fully do on the 19th on a thursday and our pay wouldnt go in untill the 20th on friday so he advised me to call back the next day that made it today and that way it would make the payment due on the 20th and that way it would work and our service wouldent be interrupted becouse we qualified for the 10 day promise to pay plan so i told him ok i would call the next day so it would make the full balance of229.68 due by the 20th even thoue that would leave me compleaty broke i told him i was in a bad car accident and was in bed alot and tv was my only entertainment and i looked forword to my programing he refused to make no other arrangements with me he said there was no other arrangements available for me told me he was sorry about my condishon so i told him i would call back the next day on the 10th i hung up with him very stressed out wondering how am i gonna pull this off paying this off by the 20th paid in full and this was my only opition they had to offer me knowing the shape im in so i called back today 08.10 2010 and when i got threw to someone live i couldent tell if it was a she or he she or he said its id number was z2d and i tryed to explain my call the day before i had with man i wish i had his id number and this person right away said no unless i pay now no deal in so many words and was rude and i could tell this person with id number z2d was having a bad day or something and said i cound not have the 10 day promise to pay and i said that wasnt fair becouse the man i talked to said i could so i asked to speak to the supervisor of worker id number z2d so i was put on hold and the supervisor of z2d came on the phone this supervisor did not give me a id number she was right away rude said very mean things about my past payment history i told her i know but it will be better and i just wanted to work this out she continued to be very rude so i told her maybe i should concider a nother provider and she said oh you can afford another provider but you cant pay us and i said no i was talking about the 20th when we would have money i did say do you need to spank me or should i stick my hand threw the phone so it could slapped i asked if we where were being recored she would not say yes or no she said more rude things to me and hung up on me i called back and got worker id number dse and told her how i was treated and the whole story of what happend she was nice and said she reported to her supervisor what has happend to me and that shocked me becouse the supervisor of worker id number z2d said she was the only supervisor there was no one else to talk to she was as hi as it gets so worker dse was nice but said there was nothing she could do for me she tryed everything so i was forsed to bounce my bank account for 145.33 hopefully i am able to make it to my bank before it clares so im not charged more money bank fees if i wasnt in a bad car accident i would be working but i was and i live on a road in the country and being limented tv and my bible is all i have i should have never been treated the way i was and to make me cry and stress me out is wrong if these people cant treat people right nor have conpation why are they working there something should be done about this still feeling bad and hurting even more from the stress of this unnessery treatment and making me feel like crap becouse i dont have much money to keep my bills up totley unfair treatment crying in her room, dorriann 336/634/0734 if you need to contact me

Check by phone
About a week ago Dish Network called me to see if I was going to pay my payment, I said Yes but I only get paid every two weeks because I am in the Army so I decided to do a check by phone said can you hold a check til the first of July when i get paid next. They told me no can only hold til the 26 th of June so once again after being a customer of there's for 5 years they have disconnected my service on the 27th, couldn't wait four more days til I get paid and then get there money, but now are going to charge me a reconnect fee to get it turned back on. DONT THINK SO SO LONG DISH NETWORK . YOU ALL A FREIKING JOKE ANYMORE AND WILL PROBABLY REPORT THIS TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Wrong Billing
We have been Dishnetwork customers for years and they are charging us wrongfully now. We figured that 2, 3 months later as we had set up online payment, we didn't realize at first. When we realized in January, 2010 we called them and were told that we ordered some pay per view movies.
They were showing evidence on our system, we told them we didn't order any of those and he blamed on someone secretly watching those adult movies without our knowledge. That rep. was indirectly suspecting my 12 year old. As I closely watch my son and never leave him alone, I know for sure that was wrong. My son was never left alone without supervision.
We thought may be my Mom must have pressed wrong buttons on accident as she is not educated and don't know much about anything but the Indian channels numbers and on/off button. We paid the bill and asked them to make our credit to zero dollars to avoid accidents, and also locked all the PPV channels.
We got our March bill and again showed up 30 dollars extra for some PPV movies. When asked we were told that these charges are from before we locked our PPV and it is normal that they show up after 2, 3 months and were told we might expect more. I don't know how long they are going to cheat us this way. I am planning on changing it.

processing payments
I tried to make a payment last month to dish net by phone and the automative system declined my card. I was transferred to a customer service rep. He did take my payment and waived the 5.00 fee. I tried to pay again this month and payment still would not process. the service rep was going to charge me 5.00, I said im not paying the five dollars and that I wanted a supervisor. He transferred me to op#RYN Joe. spoke with Joe and Joe stated that my card was declined and that if I wanted to pay through them I would be charged the 5.00 dollars. I stated I should not have to pay 5.00 dollars because your system would not process my payment. I stated something must be wrong with your system. He stated that nothing was wrong with there system and said it was my card. He acted like I did not have the money in my account to pay and said you need to call your finacial institution which I did and they told me that there was nothing wrong and the money was in my account. So I called back and spoke with Grace op#S2u and processed my payment and waived the fee. I think Joe op#RYN was very unprofessional and needs to be spoke with. I was upset and did yell, but I was upset because I knew I had the money to cover the payment and I knew they would be able to process the payment and i explained to him that meant something would have been wrong with there system and therefore I shouldnt be charged and he still proceeded to say that I would you need to call your bank. If payment is not made your service will be interrupted. I personally think the system does not work so they can charge you the extra 5.oo dollars to get more money. I have had nothing but problems since I went with dish network and I would not recommend them to anyone. I have had excellent customer service assistance up unitll I spoke with op#RYN JOE!!! He made me feel like I was trying to abuse the system and that I was trying to get something for free!!! I had even went with out service for a week and should not have had to pay the previous months bill in full!!! But I did anyways!!! this whole process took about an hour and a half to get resolved. poor customer satisfaction
I have had dishnetwork for almost two years with numerous outatges which dishnetwork doesnt reimburse for even though that is not the customers fault. Until today any other time they (dishnetwork) have disconnected me they immediately reconnected me when they have done a soft disconnect, as they call it, as soon as I have paid my past due balance. Knowing i live in a blizzard area currently ravaged by bad snow storm after bad snow storm causing a state of emergency dishnetwork is unwilling to do as they have always done before and reconnet me with payment of my past due amount which is only $90.64. Instead dishnetwork wants me to pay almost double that amount just to reconnect my service. However dishnetwork falsely advertises saying they have award winning customer service satisfaction under whose standards their own? Because me being a paying customer I cant tell I am not a satisfied customer and appartenly with all of the complaints I am not the only customer who has been blaintly lied too. If dishnetwork wants a clue on good customer service follow the first rule of advise when it comes to customer satisfaction the customer, who helps make pay checks and various other bills for the company, is always right and the company should do everything it can to keep happy satisfied customers. One unsatisfied customer can cause alot of havoc for a company word of mouth spreads quickly. I for one am telling all of my friends and family about my negative experiences and they will tell all of their friends and family.

fraud charges
i want people to know that dish network does not do as the claim.i had service with them because they said that i could save money on programing. i got the 24.99/month package and when i got my bill, it was worst than what i was paying before and with half the channels.The bill was higher than it was supposed to be.i contacted them and they would not help me resolve this issue.they took 200.00+out of my checking account without my approval.i only had their service for about 2 weeks.

Awful, awful, awful
On thanks giving I brought a new HDTV, because they say everybody has to convert to this in one way or another. Well call dish network, to hook up been with them quite a few years, the lady said no problem but somebody has to be home well they were a day late because of bad weather. The lady on the phone state a hookup price of 179.00 with a promo fee given back of 100.00 dollars just call in they will send it the form to you. well call in 6 times nothing in the mail this is a scam and if they do this to every body it will be in the millions by the time it is done. All I ask is for somebody to check this out, by the way one operator will say they will send and another will say you have to go online well they won, t give you the right promo code and they do have many.

poor customer service
I had dish network set up in my home with a promo price of 25.00month.we were told that the price included local channels, this is not true, we had to pay 5.00 more for the local service.we were not told of this prior to hooking up with them.I have also emailed them about their receiver boxes as to where to send them back and get no response.I guess they are so big that they just dont care about how they treat folks.

Refund my money
Dish net work tv never worked in my home and this company would never come out and fix it problem but they certainty took money every month for their bad service... and when I had had enough and cancelled the bad service they took $200.00 out of my account without my consent and an additional $325.00 for their crappy equipment and has refused to give it back...every time I call this company they have a different story about my refund. They are a ripoff company...
