non-availability of NEO channel
Sir,
As you are aware, India-Australia test matches live is broadcasting on NEO channel. You are also kindly aware that your dishtv do not telecase this channel. It is our humble request to you that kindly make available this channel so that a number of dishtv customers can view the match live through dishtv.

Horrific Experience with DishTV and AT&T Bundle
Was lured by AT&T to switch my from Timewarner Cable bundle to DishTV and ATT Internet / Phone Service. Phone service and Internet installation went as planned with some minor glitches, however Dishtv Never showed up for first of 2 appointments causing me to burn 2 vacation days awaiting technician arrival. I rec'd a call a few days later asking about an open order pending and a third appointment was setup to install Dish. The technician arrived 6 hours late for the third appointment - during a rainstorm and at 6:30 in the evening. He explained that the line of site to establish service was inadequate for the service I ordered, but using the new Dish and new Receivers, I would be fine. The technician assured the following Saturday we would receive a visit to complete order. Again a no show however a call late in the day that the technician was running late and would be out first thing Sunday morning. Again a no show on the following Sunday. No calls came from Dish regarding this order since. I called today (being a week after the last no-show) and was advised a manager was at my house on 9/15 and verified that no-line of sight was available completely contradicting the technician who was onsight. No call was ever placed to us, and we have absolutely no evidence that anyone ever even showed up on 9/15.. no note, no followup.. nothing.
Tried to complain to Dish only to be transferred to no less than 4 individuals before being put into a que for installation. I will cancel my AT&T Service and ask to never receive a flyer to bundle services again in the mail as false advertising.

Bad service
Scheduled installation 2 weeks in advance. Took a day off of work and guy never showed. Took another day off, guy said he was coming at 8:00am. Waited all morning, called DishTV and they said he was coming in 3 days. Asked for rebate since lost wages. They would not do it so I cancelled my service and went with DirectTV.

Poor service
Hi INDIANS, NEVER GO FOR DIsh TV especially in Bangalore. Here the subcontractor for installation is Bharat systems and they are least bothered to serve you once installation is done. Make sure you get all channels specified in the catalog. You can opt for Tata sky which is far more better. The most best option would be to stick to your good old cable guy. Professionalism is the last word in Dish tv customer care

Poor service of dish tv
From the first day of purchase the Dish TV Connection, I am facing the problems. Installation problem, channel problem, disconnection problem etc. I launched my complaint at customer care ref No.14892959 but no one come to attend the complaint. I have faxed the complaint at delhi office to Mr. Gandhi who helped me during the installation but all in vain.
I have fed up to see this type of facility.

Doesn't start
I purchase ur dishtv set at 28 th june at your dealer, but yet it is not start. Your salesmen & technician avoid us regularly.

Beware
We have had DishTV for exactly one month and have experienced 6 "searching for satellite" blackouts. Every time there is the slightest hint of a rain storm, not even thunderstorm, we get no picture for an undetermined time.
Additionally, we are being charged $25. More per month than we were led to believe on the phone sign-up.
Another irritation is the requirement for two separate receivers which are only responsive to IR signals which requires one to be in the same room to change channels. The Dishnetwork unit was a dual system with one of the receivers UV signal responsive.
They have us trapped in a situation that is entirely inescapable unless we are able to pay them a $200 per remaining month on the contract.

Pathetic service
My DishTV started giving problem on 18th May. I first logged in a complain on their website and also register the complain via phone. I have been registering complaint since then and have done it almost 8 times now. But till date I have been waiting to hear from DishTV. The people in the call center are so callous that they bang the phone and even put you on hold indefinitely. lately I register a call again on 1st May that is Sunday at 10 AM in the morning, I was again given a tracking no and assured that it will be resolved before 7 Pm. Since nobody turned till 5:30, I again called and inquired about the status of my complaint, the staff seemed lost in their own things and kept me on hold for almost 35 Min. then finally disconnecting the line.
So beware, in case you are planning to make your life simpler by moving from a cable n/w to a satellite N/w, choose responsibly.
