Buyer Beware
I purchased a dishwasher from hhgregg after being told it could be delivered the next day. Next day turned into a promise of 4 days later. Then found out they had no idea when they could ever deliver it. They promised to refund my credit card the purchase price of $1, 020. Then they said they processed the refund. It still has not been processed. They sold a product they could not deliver and now are stalling to give me my money back. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to have them go after my refund. This company is bad news. I will never purchase anything from them ever again. They are not a reputable store.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
I PURCHASED A DISHWASHER FROM CONN'S IN FEBRUARY OF THIS YEAR. IT BROKE IN APRIL. I CALLED CONN'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND A SERVICE TECH CAME OUT TO CHECK MY DISHWASHER AND FOUND THAT A PART WAS BROKEN OFF THE PUMP . THE SERVICE TECH TOLD ME THAT HE HAD TO ORDER THE PART AND THAT IT WOULD PROBABLY TAKE A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET IT. TWO WEEKS LATER WHEN I HAD TO CALL TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THE PART FOR MY WISHWASHER I WAS TOLD THAT THE PART ORDERED WAS THE WRONG ONE AND T HAT IT HAD TO BE REORDERED. WHEN THE PART FINALLY CAME IN THE SERVICE TECH THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO COME OUT TO INSTALL THE PART DID NOT SHOW UP OR CALL. WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE PART I WAS TOLD THAT ANOTHER SERVICE TECH WOULD BE COMING OUT TO LOOK AT MY DISHWASHER. HE INSPECTED IT AND TOLD ME THAT ANOTHER TECH WOULD BE COMING OUT TO DO THE SAME INSPECTION AS IT WAS COMPANY POLICY. HOWEVER, AFTER A MONTH OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT RUN-A-ROUND, I FINALLY TALKED TO ONE OF THE MANAGERS AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF RIGHT AWAY. TWO WEEK AGO A SERVICE TECH CAME OUT TO PICK THE DISHWASHER UP AND TAKE IT BACK TO THE WAREHOUSE TO INSTALL THE PARTS. HE TOLD MY WIFE THAT IT WOULD TAKE A COUPLE DAYS TO INSTALL THE PARTS AND CHECK IT OUT TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS PROPERLY. NOW WHENEVER I CALL TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT MY DISHWASHER, THEY CAN'T FIND THE SERVICE TECH THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WORKING ON IT OR THERE'S NO MANAGER AVAILIBLE OR THEY JUST PUT ME ON HOLD UNTIL THE LINE EITHER GOES DEAD OR I DECIDE TO HANG UP AND TRY AGAIN. I EVEN GOT BUSY SIGNALS A COUPLE TIMES. FOR A COMPANY THAT BOAST S CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AS A HIGH PRIORITY, THEY SURE DON'T SHOW IT.

lengthy resolution of product repair
I have a dishwasher that has required repair at least 9 times since 2006. I have currently been waiting since 1-14-10 for repair of my dishwasher and keep getting one excuse after another. The resolution dept. states there is no one higher that I can speak with regarding this matter but I refuse to believe that. installation
On March 8th we had a dishwasher which we purchased from Sears installed
My husband and I BOTH asked the installers to be careful of the floor. It is new hard wood floor ...we even offered the installers cardboard to put down...they did not want it.
When they left, I noticed that the rug that usually is beneath the sink, right next to the dishwasher was moved in front of the dishwasher...when I moved it back I saw the HUGE scratch...easily 20 inches long.
NO WONDER THEY MOVED MY RUG...TO HIDE THIS SCRATCH.
I had written a letter the next day to Sears about this but to date have not heard back. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied by the deception of the installers...not just that they were dishonest, but tried to cover it up!

I want this scratch fixed or replace the walnut floor which we specifically asked the installers to be very careful of.

I hope to hear back from Sears on this matter a.s.a.p.

Customer Service
I had a horrible experience with customer service. I was slotted for an 8-12 appointment time yesterday, and changed my schedule to be available. I got a call at 10:30 to say they would be at my home between 1:30 and 2. When I told them I was not available during that time, the customer service rep said she would see if I could be scheduled last in the day (when I could be home) and get back to me. No one ever called me back. Then I got a message at 1:30 on my home phone from the technician, saying he was out my house, that I wasn't there and I would have to call back for a new time. I called and complained, stating that I had called earlier and spoke to someone about coming out later in the day. No one could find a record of that call, and they said the best they could do was schedule me fo another 4 hour time frame the following week. I indicated this was neither fair nor acceptable, as I had been available during the time I agreed to be there, and they were the ones that has defaulted on that agreement, not me. I was passed to the "Escalations" department (and believe me, if you have to call it that, it is not a good thing!) I was told by the "customer care" representative there that despite the fact that it was not "my fault" that the appointment didn't occur that day, I would have to make myself available for another four-hour window. I asked if I could be scheduled first for a time period (i.e. 8 or 1) and she told me she couldn't do that, that my only option was to waste another 4 hours waiting for them to show up (or not). I ended up hanging up - very frustrating, rigid, extremely poor customer service. I will ask Kitchen Aid for another vendor. Avoid these people if you can.

DEFECT ON DISHWASHER AND NO AFTER SERVICE
Dishwashers motherboard was fixed and I paid for repairs the second time and Ellisras Electric promised to replace the motherboard but after 3 months still no service was met. is seems that the pump was damaged. please see that Head Office appoint another company to fixed Devy products.

Never Received Part
I purchased in October 2007 a refrigerator. a gas stove, a dishwasher, a freezer, a washing machine, a dryer and two garage door openers. From the very start I have had problems getting someone to come and install some of the items.
After a few appointments, (3 or 4), were set up and no show up and no phone call to advise, I gave up and called local craftspeople to do the service.
From delivery date to present I have been trying to get the top tray of my dishwasher replaced and I have had no success. Again 7 or 8 different appointments have been set up and again no one has shown up or had the decency to call that they were not coming. Presently an appointment is set up for the end of this month, and hope it will be the one
I have taken a number of day off from work and I feel I should be compensated somehow.

Installers could not instiall, not licensed Plumbers
If you buy a dishwasher and are expecting Home Depot to install it know that the contractors are not licensed plumbers. If you have PVC piping or the connectivity is not straightforward the delivery people will not install it. If you are this category and insist on purchasing a dishwasher from Home Depot, make sure you can either install it yourself or have a licensed plumber at hand. Next best thing to do is buy the dishwasher from Sears, they send licensed plumbers to do the installation.
