Was not satisfied with the services that I paid for. Customer service skills were very poor. Very important things were missed in my reception.
I set up this DJ for my wedding reception months and months ago. He told me how he was this great dj and how as a good dj you know how to read people and actions. The whole night every announcement that he made besides the last song, were asked of him to do. He didn't announce about the speeches until I asked him to, he didn't announce anything unless we asked him to, except for the last song. For our dollar dance, he ended the dollar dance while people were still in line waiting to dance with us. Then we said don't stop and he was like okay one more song. I really feel that as a professional, who has done many receptions he should of know not to stop a dance when people are still waiting in line. My mother asked me if we were going to do father daughter dance, and I said yes, please tell him. She went up there an requested it and said to just play any slow song and he never even announced or played it. My mother also requested other songs for him and he told her that the bride had songs requested and didn't really take her request when we specifically said to take requests. He was very rude to my mom, out of all people. She was very disappointed and so was I with him. He didn't seem to really know what he was doing and seemed very rude to everyone. We had numerous people all through out all night ask where we got this guy. I would never recommend him to anyone. I feel like I really got taken, I paid about the same price for him as my whole reception and the whole night pretty much had a grumpy guy on stage. I really feel like i didn't get the services I was promised. I think if you work with hundreds of people customer service skills are very important and he seemed to not have any. We have many many unsatisfied guests from our reception and people mentioning all night or as they went home, where the heck did you find this guy. I would like some of the money back I paid him since he couldn't manage to do the job that he was supposed to do.
Consumer's Desired Resolution:
I would like some of the money back that I paid. I'm not out to screw anyone over, I just think I paid $750 and didn't get nearly what I should of got. I understand he did show up, however he did a very poor job. I have many people that could vouch for that even our photographer had said something to me.
