A month ago I lodged a complaint regarding fraudulent charges on my account as the result of using it to "verify my age". I felt stupid enough when the charges showed up online in my bank account and I had to explain to the people at the bank what the web site was and why I gave them my card number in the first place.
Now I am nearly $500 overdrawn because of the overdraft created by this charge and subsequent NSF charges on my legitimate checks. I am going to insist that Gatterbill repay me at least 3 of the nsf fees or else I am going to sue them for that plus damages. I am certain that there is a lawyer some where willing to pursue the matter for me.
Is there anyone out there with a similar situation? If so, did you figure out how to get some of your money back? Let me know with a directed comment to sue750. Any lawyers with advice? Please help. I am on a fixed income. This is killing me. And with direct deposit my check is history, meaning I can't pay my rent, or pay my other bills. I am desperate to get some help.
