My shipment was supposed to arrive in Helsinki before 12noon on the 11th May, 2011. Unfortunately it was delayed at the airport, or so, I was informed by DHL after I persistently called, tracking it online. I was also told I would be called, but was never called. I then requested that shipment not be sent if it was going to be late.
I want my shipment back, and I want compensation for the inconveniences, the costs incurred in arranging the package, and a failure of DHL in fulfilling its primary contractual obligation. I also worry that my credit card might still be debited.
