In Jan 2009 I purchase my a car I had long waited for, the new 2009 Dodge Challenger hemi, burnt orange, 6 speed standard, upgrades all around. I had stayed away from North American cars for over 15 yrs as the quality of the car and customer service had fallen so low you could not even get a phone call returned never mind a car repaired. The first thing I noted to the senior sales staff was how the recent economy made me think to try and buy from USA (although one never can tell what percentage is made in the USA) to support the ailing economy. They assured me Dodge understands and will match or exceed any of the imports on service. A few months later I was showing my car to a friend who is into cars big time and he was admiring the new Challenger when he noticed a problem with the passengers door, his eyes caught a rough spot on the inside of the door panel. He noted the car had been damaged before. I immediately took this to two separate dealers for their appraisal and after readings from both paint meters clearly stating their was an after factory paint job I went directly to the dealership, Planet Dodge, Randal Reeds in Humble. The dealership in no waste of words told me the reports were wrong, they would not entertain their own shop reviewing the claim and to please leave...I was so upset I could not even focus, this dealership is beyond crooked, they are deceiving and pure thieves. I cannot believe they just do not get it, they wonder why no one wants to buy from Dodge, it is not so much the car it is the crooked personnel selling the cars!
I would strongly recommend never ever buying from this dealership!
Doug from Humble.
