On April 30, 2009, I purchased a bag of Quakers Rice Snacks that are on sale. Today, I started eating some of my snacks and come to find out that they expired on June 4, 2008. That is not good and definitely since they were processed with peanuts (possibly) and good have been one of the batches recalled due to PCA. I spoke to the store manager Vic who was on no help. He stated that he has none on the rice snacks on his shelves. Who cares. I told him that I purchased the last bag last nice and I questioned him why are they still on his self? No answer. I made a complaint to the corporate office which is Safeway Corporation. Offering a refund is one thing but it is the principle behind having almost a year old expired product on your shelf. There is NO EXPLANATION that can be warranted for this!
