Abusive Manager
Because someone from Domino's placed a long door-hang coupon stating that during the week of May 26 - June 1, 2008, "any pizza, any size" would be $8.99, I ordered a pizza today at approximately 1:00 p.m. I mentioned when I ordered the pizza that I have a coupon.
The price quoted to me (after I had given my credit card information) was above $20. I thought that was odd at the time, but thought that the extra cost may have been for extra toppings and the soft drink that I ordered.
When I completed my order, the person I talked to said that the pizza would arrive "in about an hour." I thought that was strange, since it says on the door-hang coupon (and in pretty much all Domino's marketing) "YOU GOT 30 MINUTES" in SIX different places.
It occurred to me, about 20 minutes later that something must be awry -- that there's no way that my total could be above $20 since if they're only charging me $8.99 for the pizza.
I called back and told them about the coupon and asked how my order could be $20. The person I spoke with, who identified himself as the general manager, vehemently denied that I had said in our earlier phone conversation that I had a coupon. I corrected him. He again denied it. I asked to speak to his supervisor, but he refused, saying that he was the general manager.
He stated that I would have had to tell him about the coupon earlier for it to be valid and that I did not tell him earlier. The odd thing is, he was not the person I spoke with when I ordered the pizza -- it was some other voice entirely. So there's no way he could have even heard anything that I said when we first spoke. During the course of his increasingly angry tone, he said, "Don't be a moron."
When I asked for his name, he refused to give it. I asked again, and he hung up on me.

delivery
I have had terrible problems with all corporate pizza companies in this area, and domino's takes the cake. I ordered a pizza and it was delivered an hour and a half later...cold. The best part is they are located a few blocks down the road, and when we called domino's to confirm our order they said it had been delivered!!! This was 15 minutes before we actually received the pizza. What are these corporate conglomerates doing with our money...we demand service for the ridiculous prices we are paying. I ended up going to a local pizzeria and getting great service. The bottom line is to support you local businesses and put these big corporate a-holes into their place.

Delivery driver killed my puppy!
Last evening we ordered pizza from the Goshen Dominos in Linway Plaza in Gosnen, Indiana. When the delivery guy came he needed my signature for my credit card and I was distracted by our dog Max and the delivery guy joked he had a dog too. When I signed for the card I asked my son where our puppy was and he had slipped out the door and my son went out the door and told the delivery guy our dog was out. With this said it was only a matter of minutes and our son ran across the street to catch the puppy and the delivery guy went to the end of the cul-de-sac and was driving very fast and before my son could stop him he ran over our sweet puppy and kept on going. My son was yelling that our precious puppy "odie" got ran over by the dominos pizza guy and I ran out to him just as he died in my arms. My son called the Dominos store to tell them what had happened because I couldn't do anything but sob with my lifeless puppy in my arms and I have not heard even an "I'm sorry" The loss I feel for our sweet puppy cannot be put into words... he was a member of our family and had I known that the delivery guy was going to come into our neighborhood and be so careless and thoughtless I would never had ordered a pizza... it was so not worth it and I will never forget this for the rest of my life. Maybe to some people it was just a puppy... but he was our puppy and was loved as much as a human. I just can't stop thinking why he was driving so fast knowing that our puppy was out. What if next time he runs over a human... something to think about... my heart is in a million pieces!!!

Scam advertising!
The new TV commercial for Dominos Pizza is degrading to all men everywhere. The commercial has a man telling his wife that the person on the phone at Dominos says that they have 30 min, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Then it shows him wearing a bath robe. His wife then asks him, " What are we going to do with the other 28 minutes?" I personally would like to have this commercial removed and not to be aired again, this should be more of a Viagra commercial instead of a pizza commercial

Hair cooked into the pizza's cheese!
My family and I were really hungry so we decided to order the 5 by 5 deal, when we opened the first pie ,we found a long wavy grayish hair on the pie (no one in my family has gray long wavy hair!), but we said ehh lets just not eat that pie lets just eat the second pie, so while I was eating a slice I felt a hair in my mouth, which even got tangled in between my bottom teeth. I took out the piece of pizza that was in my mouth to see if it was my imagination. Unfortunately, there was a brownish visible hair woven into the crust and cheese, cooked into the pizza. I immediately vomited, and when my family saw the second hair coming from a different pie, everyone became nauseous and started vomiting too, I mean wouldn't you? It was disgusting, never again will I order pizza from Dominos.
Anyways after vomiting, my sister then politely called Dominos from (Newark, NJ the one on Bloomfield Ave.) to speak to the manager (NOT asking for a refund and definitely not demanding another pie). The manager was rude, didn't allow her to explain and when she asked for his name he hanged up on her! So of course my sis became mad, after all she just wanted him to know what happened so that he wouldn't lose other customers, and so that his employees would wear a hair net, because obviously they probably weren't wearing one. She then called again, he yelled at her and when she asked for his name he hanged up on her again!
We just called so that other people could be able to enjoy their food, instead of vomiting. So next time you order your delicious dominos pizza, watch out for nasty hairs on your slices!!!

Poor delivery skills
My son order pizza at 915pm and i called 3183879887 to contact the dominos pizza branch. I spoke to the manager, i was told it takes 1hour to 1.5 hours for delivery. So we waited, then i made a another call about 2 hours later. Still no pizza i felt bad and as if i wasn't important enough, to be treated and disregarded like i was. My feelings were hurt but not as bad as my kids. I really did not appreciate this. Finally the pizza arrives 2hours and 20minutes later. Then i was told that he would discount $4 off.they should have been free. At least that is what the ad and commercials say.

Poor service, no delivery!
On 3-11-07, aprox. 7pm, I had a friend over at my new house ordering pizza from the above store . We had been painting all day and were in no joking mood. We placed an order, the only thing my friend got confused with was whether or not the street was ave. ct. etc. They actually called us back and said that we were calling in a prank, when after I verified that the street was Ave. I felt outraged, as they also said my friend sounded like a little girl trying to call in, she is 20yo, lives on her own as well. I feel we have been discriminated against. If need be I can provide that I made over 70000 last year and did not expect to be treated that way by Dominos. Has always been my favorite pizza joint, but until last night, not anymore. So, after that, we called another location for pick-up, only to place an order and actually went to pick it up, and they had no record of our order. Now i am not sure what happened there, but we did in fact have in our minds that we wanted pizza, and if we could not get it delivered, we would pick it up. So it delayed us that much more to have to input our order once again. All in we attempted to order the first time around 7pm, we were not able to eat until 930, as we had to drive to another store to pick it up, when in fact the other store could have delivered it. Do I need to show them my lease, my tax records, to in fact prove that I am an adult? I felt very offended by this, and am really quite ready to NEVER call Dominos again unless the poor service is made up somehow. I have also called the complaint office. THIS HAS BEEN BY FAR THE WORST ANY PIZZA FOOD JOINT HAS EVER MADE ME FEEL!!! How can Dominos tell if in fact that someone is of age over the phone? Do they hire psychics now? And the fact that they insisted on arguing about the matter, instead of talk to even me to settle it down, they still insisted on saying we were pranks. First off we were extremely hungry and having pizza delivered to my house was the most convenient solution. After taking over 2 hrs to order one large pizza and a crazy bread, I don't care how busy, I understand there is a waiting line, but this is just plain ridiculous. I do wonder if they were too lazy to have it delivered, maybe they were getting ready to close? Who knows but they still answered Dominos how can we help you, so therefore they SHOULD have had delivery service. I am so offended that a free pizza will not cut it. I WILL NEVER ORDER DOMINOS AGAIN IN MY LIFE, EVEN IF ITS THE ONLY STORE LEFT OPEN!!! Thats how outraged at this I am, I have never been this outraged at such poor service, no one has ever discriminated against me as much as this one store has. IT COMPLETELY RUINED MY NIGHT, I say THANKS DOMINOS FOR THAT!!! I will also have no problem writing a paper of this incident and see what newspaper companies around the country might like to hear about it. I am very articulate with a degree in Writing, so Dominos might look very good after I write and send my letter to as many newspapers as I can, also the BBB and many other resources to complain about POOR SERVICE.
Thank You,
Glen T. Y.

Poor quality of the service and the behavior of the service people
We are greatly disappointed and enraged at the quality of the service and the behavior of the service people. This incident happened on 13th Feb at 10.30 PM. They have not learned the basics of “on how to take a proper order”. Instead of being apologetic they fire at the customer. We have been waiting for an hour or so and no one turned up. On inquiry by phone you tell us that the address has not been taken and it was and it was our fault that we had not reminded them to take our information as they are supposed to do at the very beginning instead of focusing on just the billing amount. In any multinational business houses, the first thing you learn is to respect the customer. We are taking this incident to the higher ups so that proper training is available to you all.
