It was 30 days ago when we bought a brand new 2011 toyota sienna at don mcgill toyota. My family planned to break in the van to lake charles louisiana. It was a smooth drive however going back to houston we encountrered a very stressful problen with our new sienna. The ac turned off suddenly so what we did is turned the engine off and restart it, however the engine also went off, we tried to restart it a lot of times but still we had the same result.Knowing we have a brand new toyota sienna stuck in the middle of lake charles with 3 babies, yes 3 babies the oldest was 15 mos and youngest was 3 mos.We called don mcgill toyota for assistance however they told us that they couldn't do anything because the dealership will be close in about an hour and it was saturday, the service center will open monday!!!
Here comes monday, we went to toyota where we purchased our van to report what happened, they called toyota lake charles to tow the car and evaluate what happened, so to make the long story short it was the alternator and battery were the problems for 1 month old brand new car.Don mcgill will only cover our 2 day rental car and we're the one who'll pick our van in lake charles, , we were very disappointed with their service and they didn't even try to assist us in the best that they could, it was toyota lake charles who help us extend our rental car for free. They have a very poor customer relations manager, she doesn't know what she's talking about and didn't help to solve the problem. It was very inconvinient, traumatic and stressful for us yet they weren't able to console us with their service since it was a manufacturer's defect.
