People in NY should know that if you have any suggestions or concerns about anything in NY, DO NOT contact the Department of State. I recently tried to voice my concerns about possible illegal activity going on in Dutchess County, NY to the Office of Fire Prevention and Control listed in the NY State Department of State web site.I chose that department because my concerns and suggestions concerned fire work shows going off nightly in a state where even sparklers are illegal according to the Fire Marshall's web site. They tell you to contact them with any concerns. When you do you are sent an email telling you that your e-mails are being DELAYED. It is wonderful to know that if someone is contacting them about serious concerns or trying to warn this state about anything including but not limited to crime or terrorist activities their messages will be DELAYED.So in other words NY does not really want to know your concerns.They do not want to know what is going on in their State and by the time they do find out anything it is always too late. If anyone would like to see the messages I was sent telling me that my messages and concerns are being delayed feel free to contact me because the Fire prevention people obviously do not care.
