The DOS in New York State USA asks you to contact them about fire safety issues or concerns. You are directed to send e-mails to [email protected] I did just that about a problem here in Pleasant Valley NY with illegal fire works and explosions going on weekly where I live. You cannot sit inside your own home without loud explosions going off weekly and sometimes on a nightly basis. Day and night, sometimes until two in the morning.(The police do nothing) I sent emails for 3 days to the above email address. Every time I was sent a warning letter which says my emails are being delayed. For 3 days NY State DOS mail was delayed. What kind of State delays mail to Government offices for 3 days??? What if someone was sending this agency a bomb or terrorist tip? The whole DOS page is about fire and safety issues in NY and they encourage you to contact them but why? They never receive the emails so it is pointless! This is a state where even sparklers are illegal. Why is NY DOS State mail being delayed? Do they know their mail is being delayed for days? Do they care? Maybe they should for their own state's safety which they SAY they would like input from citizens about.By the way I have copies of the delay notices, I gave up after the third day.
