Magazine Renewal
On January 19 2010 I ordered renewal of my Stereophile magazine subscription online from DotComMags. Their web site stated they are Buy Safe Bonded and offer a Full Money Back Guarantee on every order. They also made reference to the Yahoo! Store Order System. My Order ID is yhst-46662686625523-25171.

I paid $9.99 for this renewal through PayPal.

I never received my Stereophile renewal and have not been able to contact DotComMags, PayPal or Yahoo about this matter.

Can you help me with this matter by getting my $9.99 refund?

I'm yet another one that got scammed from dotcommags. If there is a class act law suit please contact me.

no magazine subscriptions sent
Ordered nearly $50 worth of magazines January 25. Directions say that they have 4 months to provide subscriptions. Pay Pal fraud must be submitted in 45 days. So they take your Pay Pal money and tell you to wait 4 months until your right to complain through Pay Pal has passed.

Total scam/ripoff
I, too, was scammed by this company! Ordered and paid through PayPal for a magazine subscription that I never received. Contacted customer service after about 3 months and was told my order had gone through and they did not know why I wasn't receiving it yet. Hmm? Now phone number, website, and email address is no longer valid! And of course it's past the 45 day limit to dispute a claim on PayPal. I did learn, however, that you should go ahead and open the dispute and escalate it to a claim through PayPal. They will "close" it immediately because of the time-frame, but the more of these they get against dotcommags.com, the more likely they are to go after them for our money!!! Who knows, maybe PayPal will take care of it for us and we will get our money back. I won't hold my breath.

4 months and still no magazine
It has been 4 months since I subscribed for a monthly magazine and my card was charged but I haven't received a single issue. I emailed customer service after 10 weeks and received a short reply stastng it may take up to 12 weeks to start receiving my magazine and offered to cancel my subscrption if I wanted. I decided to wait and when I sent my next email after 4 months I never heard back. What a rip off! I would never use this service again.

customer service
I have called customer several times and no one will return my call.
I ordered a subscription 8 weeks ago and need to change the mailing address. In an e-mail they told me that is not possible until I receive an issue - however by moving I will not be able to receive that issue.
I do not understand why an address cannot be changed and I also do not understand why I cannot talk to them in person. Believe me, I will not do business with this company again. I'm wondering if they are a scam and will never send the magazine.

Rebuttal
Actually, magazines ordered through a third party such as DOTCOMMAGS take 6-16 weeks to be processed/delivered and it is no secret. They state it in their confirmation emails (if you choose to receive one and who wouldn't since it serves as a receipt) and it it written in black & white on the website in the 'about us' section. I am sure most people look at delivery information BEFORE placing an order for anything online and especially before posting a complaint.

ripoff
ordered 2 magazines through them. they had to refund my money on one magazine because I found it cheaper on my own. Have already heard from the magazine I subscribed to on my own. The one I did through dotcommags (exactly the same date) has never even heard of me even though dotcommags already charged my credit card. It has been almost 2 months. Customer service with dotcommags is no help and has an obviously bad attitude.

I paid using my debit card for a year subscription to readers digest, but I received only an application to subscribe to that magazine. (which was going to cost about $10.00) How do I get my money back?
