Snaggle tooth

Broke 2 of my teeth & refuses accountability!
I went in for one tooth filling and he, without even consulting me, decided that I needed two filled which were adjoining teeth, well when trying to get a metal clamp on one of the teeth, it somehow flew out of my mouth, striking the inside of my front tooth on it's way and broke it from the bottom to the top in a starburst pattern which is clearly visible, especially the major crack. I gasped and asked he and his assistant if it had broken my tooth and they assured me that it hadn't. I went to the restroom before leaving to rinse my mouth and noticed that it was indeed broken and went out to the receptionist and asked to speak to the dentist about it and was told that he was busy and would speak to me about it if I made another appointment. Then and only then when I started to write the check out for the bill they informed me that they had filled two teeth instead of the one we had made the appointment for and my bill was almost five hundred dollars. I told her that I had budgeted only the amount for one filling and asked if I could pay for one now and one next month (I don't have insurance), they begrudgingly allowed me to do that and set up an appointment for the ?dentist? to look at my alleged broken tooth the next day. I left the office in tears. When I got home I looked at the other tooth which he had filled and used the metal clamp on and there were three major cracks in the face of the tooth going up into the gum line. When I went back for my appointment to show him that my front tooth was indeed cracked, I also showed him the eye tooth that was cracked and his response was to look at me as if I were a bothersome insect and just say "well what do you want me to do about it?" in this total monotone voice. He never appologized in any way. I said that I would like him to fix it and he said that the eye tooth would have to be crowned and have a root canal because of the extensive cracking and alleged that he had already told me that it was not a saveable tooth before my visit to get it fixed. Well this was the tooth that he just went ahead and filled without consulting me so there is no way that statement was true, then he went on to say that if I wanted my front tooth fixed that he would have to cap all of my front teeth to make it look right and quoted me a price. I said I want you to at the very least to drop the charge for this filling that I did not even authorize and he said again in a very monotone voice as if he hadn't slept for three days or was on pain medication, that he couldn't lower the price in any way and just continued to stare down at me as I cried. This guy needs to retire NOW, he is obviously not cut out to be serving the public in any way and I feel concerned that he even has a license to drive an automobile the way he was acting both days that I visited seems to be a cognitive malfunction or possibly pain meds. So I have gone to another dentist who is going to fix my teeth and was absolutely appalled at what he saw that had happened to my teeth. I still feel saddened and sick at heart when I look in the mirror but I don't cry about it anymore, that's a good thing. :)
