Dr. Tudorica saw me, along with many other doctors, after being admitted to the hospital while in Nashville. Dr. Tudorica did not do anything for me, except take up my time. She was not familiar with my chart, could not answer any questions, did not have the results of my test---and should not be paid for her “services”. Her “hit and run” does not warrant payment. After her needless visit to my bedside, my husband and I decided to leave the hospital. It was obvious that staying in that hospital was nothing but a money pit that we could not afford.
My insurance has already paid a portion of her bill. As Dr. Tudorica did not provide any service to me, there is no reason to pay her any more money...yet Nashville Medical Group continues to send me bills.
The doctors, radiologists, hospital staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and a host of others at Baptist Hospital have taken the insurance money and my money and have given us nothing in return. Nothing was “fixed”. No suggestions as to what I should do. No diagnosis.
Nashville Medical Group said I should fill out a Financial Assistance Application, stating all my personal financial business. That way, the Group might "forgive" this debt. I shouldn't have to fill out anything. No service was provided.
There should be no charge. Nashville Medical Group should return the payment from AETNA insurance company and stop billing me for this unsubstantiated charge.
There are very few business that could stay in business if they didn’t give satisfaction to their clients. It amazes me that Hospitals get away with taking our money and giving us nothing in return. It should be illegal!
