Found a charge for 29.99 from DRI*Digitalriver.com- hadn't ordered anything so was alarmed. Once charge went through the name of the company appeared as DRI*ca.com 877-694-8509. I called the number, went through the usual menu beeps, then quickly got a real human -with Indian accen- who looked up my name, and claimed I authorized this charge as a recurring annual bill for an anti-spyware product I supposedly ordered in 2007. Since I don't recall CA AntiSpyware- the name implies Computer Associates, a legit comany, I'll have to give the benefit of doubt. I asked how do I stop this charge as I use NO program with any such name nor can find it on my program list- the woman replied sorry sir, we'll stop the charges and refund your money in 5 or 6 business days. Today is the 3rd day and the refund is in my account. I COULD have gotten the program for a company owner laptop I used in 2007 but specifically recall that. So the good news is that you CAN get a human, and get pretty fast resolution if you're reasonably polite!

Charged me 14.99 six times and I never Bought anything from them or there affiliates. The PR phone number is 952-253-8395, go from there to customer no service. Another number is 952-253-1234. Good Luck.

I recieved a charges on my account as DRI*DIGITALRIVER.COM I have no idea who they are how they got my personal info such as my credit card #.

#1 FCC/FEDERAL COMMUNICATION COMMISSION: can be notified and will put the website under investigation for legal purposes.

#2FDCPA/FEDERAL DEBT COLLECTION PROTECTION ACT: because now you will be recieving collections calls for debt you/consumer have charged 31 to 36 days past due, illegally where charged for so now the FCC will help you, yes it is alot of paper chasing for some as littles charges as $5 up to as I was charged 3 times for different amounts $60, $160 & $165. If payment is not recieved to this boggus website your credit will be effected.

#3MAKE A POLICE REPORT: ID theft with your local police dept and follow thru, get your hard earned money back that was stolen from your personal credit card/check debit card.

#4KEEP CONTACT WITH PHONE #S TIME DATE: when speaking to debt collectors and keep police report# handy also

I merely went to Norton Antivirius website looking around for some software to protect my computer. I only entered in the fields with my cc information, but never submited it, cuz I changed my mind, and wanted to go with someone else. They didnt even waste a day, the next morning, as I always do I checked my accounts online and noticed that Dri*digitalriver debited 45.00 from my account. at first I didnt even know who that was. I called my bank and disputed it. I would have called the company directly, but there was no contact phone number. They took my money, and I never even got a product downloaded. These people are detestable. what the hell is wrong with them???
