False Approval

I found a vehicle I was interested in purchasing from Car Max. The lender they deal with is Drive Financial which is a subsidary of Santander. The dealer at Car Max submitted the application and was told the loan was approved with the following exception: I had to satified a loan I had with a Bank. In less than 8 days, the loan was satified, I went to Car Max to purchase the vehicle. Drive Financial would not honor the loan approval because, come to find out, Triad Financial and Roadloans is subsidaries of Santander, and my husband's car is financed thru Triad. We were told Drive Financial did not want to finance 2 cars for us. My husband's car payments are paid on time every month. I did what Drive-Santander told me to do, and I still did not get the loan.

fraud, overly high interest rate and loan not reducing

I obtained a loan thru Drive Financial in August 2006 for approx. $18, 000. I have been making timely payments with the exception of a few months. As of September 2009 I am still oweing $19, 000 after 3 years of payments. I am being told that they have applied the majortity of my payments to interest and the amound still oweing is correct. I believe this is illegal and the interest is extremely high which they have refused to reduce. I am looking for the assistance or direction to file a lawsuit against Drive Financial which is now Santander. I have repeatly asked them to send me a payment history and they have not done so as of yet after 3-4 request. I informed them of my concern. My account number is 39812711000.
