Today i went to purchase a new globe for my MINI MAGLITE, and as i did not have the actual torch on me, i asked the owner of the shop, DT Electronics, to advise me on which globe i would need to purchase. I told him the model and make of my MAGLITE and even showed him the exact one - the same as one of the ones for sale in the shop. He proceeded, very confidently i might add, to give me a pack of 2 replacement globes that were in fact made by MAGLITE and he told me that these were the ones i needed. He gave me some care instructions, i paid and left. When i got home, and tried to replace the globe, it blew as did the second one i tried. When i called him to let him know that he had sold me the wrong globes, he got quite pushy and basically told me that he cannot take responsibility for my choice and that globes are non-refundable. Given that he was the one who recommended the globes after being given all the information needed to make an aducated choice on which globes to sell me, i think that HE should be the one to take responsibility for misleading me and selling me the wrong globes.

I now feel comletetly mislead and ripped off over such a small thing and such a small cost. I am writing this complaint to try and make sure that nobody else has to feel ripped off in future by this company. I would like to see some kind of action taken to teach this guy a lesson!
