Unsanitary Conditions
Today was one of those rare occasions when i was hungry and had passed by my neighborhood DD. I knew there was a DD close to my work site so, I decided to take care of my hunger pangs. I went to the DD located at the intersection of Washington Lane and Ridge Avenue in Philly. The DD shared space with a convenience store. I stood back from the line while surveying the menu. Once I had narrowed my choices, I walked to the counter and proceeded to order. I had to repeat my order three times before we had clarity. I selected a vegetable egg white omelet on a plain bagel and a cup of black coffee. i stepped back and awaited my order. I noticed that the 'food prep person' was having difficulty deciphering orders and was making several mistakes. The cashier and the other attendant thought this hilarious and spent most of their time communicating between each other, trying to direct the party behind the counter, and rushing customers to make selections. while the food prep guy was trying to figure out who was to get what. I noticed in this melee my lonely egg white exiting the conveyor belt and laying lifeless on a tin sheet then a few seconds later the bagel appears from the toaster oven. Both items sat there for several minutes while the 'food prep guy' engaged in some sort of comedy of errors that totally entertained the other help. Just as I was about to request them to assemble my breakfast meal or I would need to leave. A customer behind me taps the shoulder of a gentlemen ahead of me to the left. He turns to see who had interrupted him, simultaneously, i was handed my order. the lady voiced to the other customer, ' I wanted to warn you there is a bug getting ready to climb up your pant leg'. He stomps his foot, and out from under the cuff of his pant emerged a huge roach. I am frozen in disgust and then I see the insect stroll across the floor. For the scientist, it was an anthropod hemiptera or Giant Water Bug while fixated on the bug dining on tidbits that were on the floor...Another patron stepped out of line and on the bug which echoed that distinct 'pop' when smashed. Disgusted by the event, I said ' you need to exterminate this is a health hazard'. I received not response, just a fixed gaze as if I had moved my mouth and refrained from uttering a sound. There was no apology to the customers in line or any attempt to remove evidence of the dead carcass. I left totally disgusted and went to work...I pulled out my sandwich and I could not eat it. The specks in the omelet were reminiscent of something nastyand reminded me of what I think is roach residue ! so I rationalized that the DD is more designed for making coffee. Well was I shocked when i took a sip of the brew and it was burnt...so today DD got free money from me and a complaint logged ! i will not patronize DD again, this is my second complaint is less than 30 days. i am done and if you know like i know, you should be to or at least consider it! So when travelling through Philly and if you happen to visit the DD at the location I listed DONT but if you do inspect your food closely! Not only were the employees not customer friendly, they were impersonal, rude and had a total disregard for sound business practice and customer satisfaction.

rude co-worker
To whom it may concern,
Dunkin Donut it the last place i would go to get my coffee after what i experience on December 25th 2010. I stop by for a cup of coffee on hillside ave and 179st in jamaica queens and i presented a coupon for a free cup of coffee, this coupon i bought in a book of 10 for $10.00 so one of the coupon i took out the book has a little tear on it and the jackass that work there refuse to take it, meanwhile its not even a big deal. she accused me by saying some friend from another dunkin donut gave me that coupon this is something i shouldn't hear, So i ask to speak to a manager she left went to the back and the other jackass that work there ask me if i need some help i said yes i'm waiting for the manager and he was like the manager is NOT here so im like why did'nt she tell me that befor she went to the back, the next thing i know the manager approach me this is so fucked up when two ppl are saying two different stories and i was refuse to be serve by the manager after telling him what happen earlier. This is a problem need to get fixed. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEE AND TRAIN THEM RIGHT AND HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE. You just lost a customer and i just gave a bad review.

Unacceptable attitude and behavior
My complaint was my visit on 07-04-08 during 10:38am. I usually go to the same Dunkin Donut, Boston St. Salem MA. I never had any problem with anyone except for this employee. I ordered a 5 inch supreme pizza [newly on the item]. And the young female employee, blond light complexion, with a heavy accent, almost give me 5 order of the supreme pizza instead. I asked is the order correct and she said yes. I got the receipt. Then when I show her the receipt, I told her politely, "Hi, you made a mistake. I ordered a 5 inch supreme." She started to raise her voice and literally yelled at me, "You wanted 5 PIZZA!" And another employee making the pizza, a middle aged man, raised his voice also. I told her again that it was 5 inch supreme pizza, the full name of the item. Another customer had to step in and tell them that I clearly stated 5 inch supreme pizza. So another lady who works up front give me back the amount of the overcharged items on my credit card and rolled her eye. And they did not apologize for the incident. I wouldn't make a complaint, but it wasn't my first time getting an attitude from the same employee who worked there.
It was really uncalled for them to start raising their voice and giving me such attitude. I was clear and precise on my order and talked to them politely. I know that they have a language barrier, and it's understandable but the attitude and behavior was a bad experience. I know my voice wouldn't matter much, and I will still go there, but something should me done. The manager should take a closer look at their employee and train customer service well. I'll post up their name and description next time I go there.

Mice in the enterprise!
The Dunkin Donuts locate off of Dogwood Rd not only have mice but the manager required the employees to continue fixing food with the same hands that are used to clean toilets without protection.
