Rude drive thru attendant
I was at the above location and went through the drive thru to order 2 coffees. I told the drive thru attendant that I needed a Large Hazelnut Light and Sweet and a Large Hazelnut Black with 3 Equal. The man stated back to me that I wanted a Large Hazelnut Light and Sweet and a Large Regular, to which I replied, no the second one should be black with 3 Equal, Hazelnut. So he said, Ok, Large Hazelnut Light and Sweet and a Large Regular Black with 3 Equal. At this point I'm getting very irritated and I said, NO, they are both Hazelnut and he yells back I GOT IT, LARGE HAZELNUT LIGHT AND SWEET AND LARGE REGULAR BLACK 3 EQUAL! ANYTHING ELSE?? When I got to the register I was infuriated but he was not the person working the register so I couldn't say anything to him, and I had to get back to work. But he did make a point of glarring at me through the window when he brough up my coffees. I should mention that this man did not speak English well, so I doubt he thought he was saying anything wrong. But I should not be yelled at because he doesn't speak English properly. I think he needs a recap of Customer Service. I will not be going to this location again.

Have no clue what customer service means
This morning like every morning I was on my way to Dunkin Donuts to get my coffee usually I get a med the same way all the time I live in a fairly small are so u get to know everyone. This particular gentlemen has no clue how or what customer service means. My order is wrong at leat 7 out of 10 times, why I keep punishing myself by going there, who knows they are so inconsistant there that there is a possibility that my coffee won't taste like ta and my pastery won't have clumps of sprinkles or a hunk of butter.. This morning I decided I needed an ex large coffee I had to wrk early this morning, I wanted a toasted pastery and I knew I needed to be very clear about what I wanted because they have on more then one occasion messed up my order. So I began my drive thru experience by waiting for about 6 min while the person infront of me dealt with his order, then another 6 while i waited for him to catch up with what ever he may have been doing. I ordered and made it clear that I wanted the pastery toasted and lightly buttered. If I didn't I would have had fresh dough and a clump of butter. He then said you said toasted twice there's no need for the attitude, now this isn't my first run in with this guy so at this point i was now taking it personal, I asked him to get the manager and i pulled up to the window, I saw him go into the back and came out to me and told me the manager was not there so I said ok then give me your store number and you name and the managers name. He leaves and comes back and said well mam were not allowed to give out the managers store number, now for a minute I thought wow is this guy serious, anyone who has worked in retail or has ever made a complaint knows that the store number is usually printed out on the receipt. I said now why would I want the managers personal phone number, so he handed me a peice of paper with the stores phone number on it and the managers name and his name. I just took the paper and said I'd like a printed receipt I knew then i was dealing with someone who really didn't have all his lights on upstairs. So needless to say I will No longer go to this Dunkin Donuts I would rather go to Mcdonalds wich is a bit out of my way where my experience has been wonderful every time. sincerley sick of have my order wrong.

The LAZY managers
There is a Dunkin Donuts in Quincy, Ma on Sea st. I am a regualer at this store and it has great service with the exception of the Managers. When i go there I am on my way to work and i expect to be in and out with a perfect cup of coffee. Its early in the morning and busy so why is there only one crew member working up front, bouncing back and forth as fast as she can from coffee to ringing in the order to getting the donuts. Hey i thought mebey there short an employe today but im there everyday and now i relize what goes on. There is a manager that should be up front that has wondered down the back "hanging" out with her boyfriend/husband/ baker. This is unfair. A crew is slaving back and forth with a line of 10 people and all the managers & baker are in the back having a great time. I have taked to some of the crew to get a lil info and the whole time there doing nothing, there all reciving tips (when there doing nothing). I feel bad for the workers that work in the morning shift. When the managers are up there working together one on coffee and one on the register, all they do is gossip. This person that person blah blah blaH. HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT UP, CONCENTRATE SO I CAN GET THE RIGHT COFFEE FOR ONCE?!!" Is what i feel like yelling at them. This dunkies is unbelivable, the crew works so hard in exchange to share there tips with a bunch of lazy need to get fired managers. I became friends with a young lady that worked there and all the stories she has told me, woah ! my heart goes out to all you hard workers, you deserve better. And PLEASE if your looking for a job stay away from the dunkin Donuts on Sea st in Quincy, Ma!

management
I had been a great employee for dunkin donuts in berwick since may of 2009, when i first started there, there were a few things i had noticed
but new owners were going to be taking over and making great changes. Except for some odd reason they kept the manager on there who doesnt know her head from a hole in the ground. i have worked for dunkin companies for many years and knew how things were run but not at this store. i had to take off of work for being sick and instead of her simpathizing she yelled at me. so i went in that day only to get weird looks from other employees, when i had asked another employee if they would like for me to work for them on one their days she kinda just looked at me and said no i would have to see this manager. From what i have seen and observed this manager talks about other employees behind their backs to other employees and then she punishes that employee with the schedule. I am a very hard worker and i was comitted to this job but to have to work in a place like that was riduculous and i can only hope that the new owners see exactly what kind of manager she is and do something about it. People i work with say they get anxiety if they are sick and have to call in afraid of what she would say. also i thought you were supposed to be able to get in touch with your manager 24/7 but at this shop its only when she is there. she has a number up but is never there. i am just asking the new owners to please talk to some of the employees and get their feedback on this manager.,

Cockroach in Coffee
The photograph is the cockroach that was in my coffee this morning. In fact, I had nearly swallowed it, when I felt something slimy and strange in my mouth. Luckily I spit it out.

This is the Dunkin Donuts at 2001 Chestnut St, in Philadelphia, PA.

I spoke to the manager, who said that pest control just came the day
before. She had nothing to offer except to replace my cup of coffee,
which is not what I'm seeking for. What I really want is an apology
and a promise to the customer that the store will do everything it can
to ensure the safety and quality of its products. Is that not too much
to ask?

Messed up my order/Poor quality
I've been going to this same Dunkin Donuts for about a year now, almost every morning on my way to work. Normally, the people who work there are very friendly, always get my order right, not to mention have good quality muffins.

This morning however, there were different people there. While the woman who took my order sounded nice enough, she didn't tell me my total and there was a semi-long pause before she told me to drive up. But whatever; not that big a deal.

When I got up to the window, I was only charged for my coffee, no muffin. (It was only after he hadn't given me a muffin, that I realized he also hadn't charged me for one.) So I said "What about my muffin?" and he apologized for having not rung that up, and fixed it. Really, he seemed like a pretty okay guy overall. Although he kinda gave me some attitude when I said "Oh, I probably didn't get the combo discount, huh?" (Really, it's only 10 cents, not that big a deal.) He paused giving me my change, and then handed my the coin part of my change saying, "There; now you have it."

He short changed me ten cents. Twenty if I include the combo discount.

So overall, it was a pretty disappointing trip to DD. But hey, I got my muffin, right?
Well, they gave me the wrong kind of muffin. Not to mention it was really dry... Really, the only thing they did right was my coffee.

Normally this Dunkin Donuts is really dependable! I'm gonna give them another couple weeks and see if things have improved.

Unsanitary practices
My name is Marvin King and I am from Philadelphia. Prior to writing this complaint, I was an avid Dunik Donuts (here on out will be referred to as DD) coffee drinker. On 9/19/09, I went to my local DD for a cup of coffee, (7500 City Ave., Philadelphia) but instead, I witnessed an act done by a DD employee that I could not believe. While I was waiting for service inside the DD store, I observed a female employee (Name unknown and Of Indian Descent) accidentally knock a plastic bucket full of coffee stirers on the floor. She kneeled down and picked them up. I assumed that she was going to throw them in the trash, since they were no longer usable. Surprisingly, the young lady placed all of the stirers back into the bucket and placed the bucket on the service counter. I yelled over to her, "Excuse me miss, you can't do that." She just looked at me and began speaking in her native tongue to one of her co-workers. Again, I chimmed in, "You can't do that to people." "You have to throw those away." When I saw that she didn't throw them away, I began to tell everyone who came into the store and in the parking lot, not to take a stirer if they bought coffee or some other beverage that would require stiring. Needless to say, I am no longer a patron of DD. I work for an organization consisting of 7, 000 employees, and I am going to make it a point to share this experience with as many of my co-workers as possible.

There must be an inquiry into this matter by the proper authorities, before someone developes an illness from the unsanitary practice that I unfortunately witnessed.

I am available for further comments or follow-up, should there be a need by the company's administration.

Extremely Poor Customer Service
I visited this store 9/27/09 around 11:35am. I ordered 2 donuts thru the drive thru. 1 donut was wrong and I noticed the donuts were put in the brown paper bag without being wrapped in the waxed paper. I parked the car and go inside the store to this matter corrected. I asked for the correct, which the manager (Bob Patel) gives me but he still puts the donut into the brown paper bag without it being wrapped in the waxed paper. He also takes the donut that I originally had and had my hands all over and puts it back with the rest of the donuts. I asked the manager for two new donuts wrapped in the wax paper and and tells me that he doesn't have to do that. I then asked for my money back because to me that is just not sanitary. He tells me no, he's not giving me anything and to get out of his store. I then asked for his name and the corporate number. He gives me his first name (only) but tells me he doesn't know the corporate number. I say, you are the manager and you don't know the corporate number. That doesn't make sense. He then tells me again to get the hell out of his store before he calls the police. I tell him to call the police. He then walks from behind the counter and puts his hands in my face and tell me again to get the hell out of his store before he calls the police. I then call the police myself. Then the manager finally gives more information such as his full name, store number and telephone number (still not the corporate number). These people at this location were not wearing any gloves and didn't wrap the food up (as they do in any other store) before putting it in a brown paper bag. This just is sanitary. The manager refuse to exchange the food or give my money and then puts his hands in my face telling me to get the hell out his store like I've done something wrong. This was ridiculous. Never again will I be visiting this store nor any other store. Something needs to be done about this.

Overcharged
Recently I noticed that Dunkin Donuts are either creating unpublished prices or just plainly over charging customers. The first time I realized it was when I ordered a small black coffee with whip cream instead of cream, while at the Dunkin Donuts by Cederbrook mall on 309 in Philadelphia. They charged me .75 cents for whip cream. They never give you a receipt because they are either creating a price or adding additional charges not posted. The second time, I ordered a plain bagel with butter and was charged .50 cents for butter. Where are these prices posted? How are they regulated from store to store? Or is it just to cover the overhead needed to buy another Franchise. It's where ever you go, today 10/3/08, I was at the Dunkin Donuts in Camden, New Jersey (16 S. Broadway); I ordered Hash Browns (a side order). They are posted to sale for .75 cents. However, when told my total I was charged $1.38. I asked for a receipt, which took a minute and asking for it several times, it showed I was charged $1.29 plus .09 tax. Most of these stores are run and own by persons who do not speak English as their first language, so when you question them they pretend not to understand you. I wonder, at the end of the day what is the total of the additional profits from cheating customers all day?? ASK FOR A RECEIPT AND SEE WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED AS WELL AS JB (JUST BECAUSE) ADDED CHARGES!!

Refusal of refund on mistaken swipe of credit card
I have been going to this Dunkin Donuts every single day for 13 years, me & the manger are on a first name basis, I do not even place my order anymore she automatically knows what I order. I went in this morning and my order total came to $6.34, I gave the woman working there my debit card which she swiped and told me it declined, I asked her to retry the card so she swiped it again, again it declined, I proceeded to pay her with cash as I was late for work. I called my credit card comapny to find out why the card declined when I had a $13.00 balance, they told there had been 2 holds put on the card for $6.34 each from Dunkin Donuts, they informed me I needed to contact the merchant to have the holds released. I called the store and they told me there were no holds put on the card that the card had declined, but 2 holds were put on the card and the lady I was dealing with was treating me as if I were some thief trying to get $13.00 that wasn't owed to me after visiting this establishment for 13 years, I will never go back into this establishment and I thinkv this employee should be repremanded for her treatment of a VERY LOYAL Customer that the store has just lost.
