Dunkin Donuts Reviews

Forcing to buy before using the restroom
I was a customer who bought a breakfast combo at Dunkin Donuts at 8th Ave between 23 and 24th Street in front of NYSportsClub. I was about to use the restroom but the restroom is locked. The guy in front of me thought that someone is inside. So I asked the cashier if the restroom is available. The guy from the cashier even asked me if I bought something already which somehow makes me feel a little bit insulted. Although I said "Yes, and you haven't even give me any receipt on what I bought..." So the guy asks the key to his manager and the manager is about to open the restroom when he asked the guy whose waiting first before me if he is a customer and bought something already. The guy was pissed off and said "I'm about to buy something if you let me use the bathroom first and wash my hands..." The manager said "you can't use the restroom unless you buy something first..." Is this justifiable for a fastfood that is so busy and yet force someone to buy something first before using the restroom? The restroom doesn't even have a note saying "Restrooms are for customers only!" Or I haven't seen any policy written in the store that if you are about to use the restroom, you should buy something first. Which is more important, worry the customers who'se about to buy something in the store or worry about someone who would like to use the restroom if he or she bought something already? There are only 2 staffs and one manager on that store and people are waiting in line to buy something yet, the manager is wasting his time to force the guy to buy something first before using the restroom. So, if you want to use the restroom very badly and the line is very long before you can buy something does the manager's polciy is justifiable for a patron of this food chain?

Customer Service
I never complain about anything ever...i'm the "let it slide guy" but today i felt it in my heart to complain about the customer service i have been getting at this particular dunkin donuts. I go to this dunkin donuts located on main st. in holyoke ma. every thursdays and fridays (thursdays being pay day)...not to long ago i had ordered a plain bego w/ cream cheese and some hashbrowns mind you i was in a rush to get to work...i get to my office and i did get my bego but they failed to put my hashbrowns in the bag...i looked at the receipt and i did pay for the hashbrowns...i figure no big deal, let it slide...today however i waited in line at the drive through at the same dunkin donuts and ordered my usual. I get to the window and before i handed my card to pay, i politely asked for some munckins...the employee there denied me mucnhkins because the line at the drive through was a little long, she gave me my card and walked away...Inside i felt really upset because i am a paying customer and was told by the employee in other words, "no i can't get you your munchkins, now leave cause my line is too long" ...i never felt so angry at something so dumb in my life...for that reason, i will never go eat at dunkin donuts again...

Discrimminiation, No water, Cockroaches, etc
I am still a employee of Dunkin Donuts... I have been working for them around 6months, And when it comes to customer service, I know I am a great person to receive that morning coffee from. Since I have been at this location I have brought sales up 21%, I know that I did this because I was awarded employee of the month for my achievement.

Now let me start with the cockroaches, I work for the people... I am a servant of the public, and cockroaches are not what people want with there donuts... Every time I bring it to the attention of my manager he says he will take care of it... Mind the fact that when I started working for them the store next to us (same building) was shut down for roaches and no hot water... So what is wrong with this picture... so about three weeks ago I started work at 7 am, when I arrived the store was flooded, water was flushing threw the store from the sewers, I could not wash my hands, I could not sanitize any of the coffee pots or counters, I was unable to even use the bathroom, when i called my boss at home he said he was coming in to shut the store down until the plumber was able to come, Yes the manager came, and all he did was mop the floor, he would not allow me to shut the store down... When I tried to contact the general manager, he ignored me, and there was never a response. Now how is a store suppose to provide quality service when they can not even meet basic standards... Now I love what I do but I can not work in this environment...

By me writing this I hope people realize what they are buying, and who they are buying from!!!

There are many more incidents that I will be taking to the right people... just be aware of who you are buying from you might just get something you did not bargain for!!!

taking away tips from employees
I have worked for Dunkin Donuts for about 4 years. When I was hired I started at $9.00 an hour plus tips. I am a single mother of two and every cent helps. My tips help pay for my bills every month. Well, as of February 1 we are no longer recieving tips. They have no reasoning as to why they are taking them from us. What we do know is that they are donating them to charity."YEAH RIGHT". I dont know what to do. Its not right!! There has to be something that can be done about this. They treat us like crap as it is and now this. I hope someone can help me figure this out!!! Is there a law about this???

dirty, long haired, no gloves
I was visiting my local DD for my morning coffee and a very young pregnent girl/lady came from outback. This girl was not only not in a unifrom she was wearing a black shirt that was very small for a person that was as far along as she was. Her hair was pulled back but looked as if she had not washed her hair/body for weeks. Maybe if it had been brushed it would not had looked so bad. I was under the impression that people had to be clean and in the right work clothes to be behind the counter. If for no other reason she girl should have a shirt that atleast fits her.

NO DONUTS!
Today i went to grab some donuts. Where else would i go to buy some donuts, then my local Dunkin Donuts. Upon ordering im told that they weren't serving donuts anymore. I was dumbfounded by the fact that this donut place wasn't even making them anymore. I know because of the econonmy other donut shops like Krispy Kreme will only make a certain amount of donuts in a day, but it was 1pm and she said "we don't serve donuts anymore." So i ordered what they did have which was the ham/swiss flatbread meal and a vanilla iced coffee. My meal didn't include the hashbrown pieces that are supposed to come with it. The vanilla ice coffee tasted like a regular coffee with no sugar in it. I tossed the entire thing in the trash, and i will never go back to Dunkin Donuts again.

Poor Customer Service
I have worked for Dunkin Donuts and have been a loyal customer for years. Never in my history of Dunkin Donuts have I ever wanted to scream at a DD manager. I have been dealing with this woman for the past couple of months. She's a black woman with far too much attitude for customer service and she keeps taking it out on me. She used to work over at the mall and is now at "Castle View" Dunkin Donuts.

I know it's not Burger King, but being a customer, if I want my coffee a certain way I should be able to get it. I have an issue with the sugar staying at the bottom of the cup, so by the time I get there, it's so sweet I end up throwing out about 1/4 of it. So I ask for my sugar to be melted before they put in the milk. She then asks, "Liquid sugar?" No, idiot, liquid sugar is only for iced tea. Not coffee. So I nicely repeated MELTED sugar. Her response, "Melted sugar in hot coffee?" With a snotty attitude, no less. "Whatever, " she says as she rolls her eyes at me.

Oh yes, another time with melted sugar in hot coffee! Back when she was working at the mall, I would stop over at DD's for a coffee during my shopping adventures. The first time I asked HER to melt the sugar, she looks at me with a confused look on her face, "Melted sugar?" At the time, I thought, like most DD employees, did not know how to melt sugar. I started explaining the process and was rudely interrupted, again, with far too much attitude, "I know how to melt sugar, " she snapped at me. Obviously stunned at the Bipolarness of her mood swing, I looked at her as to say, "What is your problem?" She rolled her eyes at me, made my coffee, and again, having a bipolar-menopause mood swing, sweetly said, "Have a nice day."

The coffee turned out the way I wanted it and I'm sure there's no spit in it, but as for the way she's been treating me, I'm fed up. There's no reason why I should be treated like that and especially for so long. One bad interaction, ok, fine, you're having a bad day. But if it's continuous, you need to be fired or you need to quit. She should NOT be working for Dunkin Donuts and I'm sick of seeing her. Hopefully Michael or AJ fires her. I'll love them even more for doing so.

By the way, she needs some type of medication to control that bipolar problem of hers.

New Dunkin Donuts likes to hire under age workers!
This new dunkin donuts in Bridgewater exploits the employees hiring 15 year olds making them work more than 25 hours a week. Also employees do not get paid bi-weekly but whenever the owner feels like it. Someone from Childlabor needs to do some serious investigations and see how the owner treats the employees. They are racist and over-work the employees. This place needs to close down.

HORRIBLE SERVIVE/RUDE
I have visited this location many times. It seems that EVERYTIME I visit when this one employee, Theresa (Rough) as she tells me, is worj=king, she is NEVER ready to prepare sandwiches for me or my companions. It doesnt matter if i arrive at 12am, 1, 2, 3, or 4 am she ALWAYS tells me she cannot cook the sandwiches at that particular time due to cleaning. I have been notified by other D & D workers that they do that type of cleaning once daily. I find it VERY hard to believe it is LAWAYS when i'm looking for something to eat. Just before I went in tonight I watched her serve another person. As SOON as I went to the counter she was already giving the excuses before I even ordered. Once I brought that to her attention and explained I wasnt looking for what she said she cannot give mne although she served the person in front of me, it was a very different story. However, once I tried to get any further I was shot down and ignored again. I have no need to try and deal with ignorant deceptive people such as this person or her manager. I will be gong to her manager or the store manager today. Im not sure if i will get far but please, if people are here to protect others...Make sure people stay away of these people and dont bother with them...

mistakes constantly!
Our office goes here 2 to 3 times a week. EVERY time, there is a mistake.!!! The employees are too busy giggling and laughing to pay attention to our order. We will look for somewhere else to go. Everyone in town has horror stories of this service.
