Dunkin Donuts Reviews

why are some ok
when you buy a dozen donuts you not aloud to put any donut sticks in the box. I was told only the round ones are part of the dozen the sticks are extra. I just was wondering do you pay someone more money to make a line then a circle. I feel this just another way to ripe off the consumer.

Dirty hands of employes, Rude behavior
there is a dunkin donut in my neighborhood with very untrained, rude and unclean employees. I saw them sticking there hands in the Ice-cream and scratching thier heads while touching food. Talking on the phone while taking orders on the drive through.
There drive through service is horrible, with a person who cannot speak english well, no greetings when we reach. I personally always give the order on the drive through and then they always ask me again at the window and start making it while i am waiting at the window.
I went to take a mango smoothie and chocolate shake at 12 am. The guy asked the order and i told him, he asked me to move to other counter and give my order there. When moved and saw another employee who was working on drive through and talking on the phone. (No other employee was there to serve). The guy took order of another person who was behind me and gave him a large ice-cream and a large coffee. he came back to me and asked me again "whats your order" i told him. He made the shake and asked me again "whats the order" (HE WAS TALKING TO ANOTHER EMPLOYEE). then i said "how many times should i tell you the order, you made the order of a person who was behind me, you are talking to your friend while taking order, do you know the rule "first come first serve" and he replied " no i dont know, the customer's order was small thats why i served him first, you have attitude, i will not serve you get out" I was surprised at his reply, and demanded manager number, he refused and told me "there is no manager and no number and i dont care if you came first, i can ask for the order as many times as i want". This guy was incredible i must say.
His name was Sam, I provided every detail please do something.

rude behavior
I drove through the drive thru and ordered a small wildberry smoothie. When I got to the pick up window, she gave me a medium smoothie. I explained that I ordered a small one and I did not want to get charged for a medium. She was very rude and nasty and said she did not take the order. I pulled around to go inside to ask what her name was. Her name is Lynee. It did not matter that she did not take the order. All she had to do was just fix it by charging me for my small instead. It was not my fault that she misheard me. There was also no reason to be rude to me. I was not rude to her.

Discrimination
This is the letter I wrote to Dunkin Donuts detailing my experience of discrimination at this store.

I would like to preface this correspondence with the fact that I have lived in West Haven for over 15 years and I have been a customer at this particular store since I have lived in Connecticut. I recently visited your West Haven store on Captain Thomas Blvd and had an extremely disturbing experience. Upon ordering we received a very condescending and arrogant comment by a sales associate named Dave that my fiancé and I spoke very good English without an accent. We informed him that we were both born in the US and he again commented on how we still speak with no accent and how he finds that surprising. I find this to be a very ignorant remark based on the color of my skin. He assumed that since we are not what he thinks of as an "American", that we would have an accent and speak differently than he does. This is an offensive remark in and of itself. When I later asked another associate named Angel what this sales associate's name was, she asked why and I told her I was not sure why the cashier felt the need to point out that I spoke without an accent and she proceeded to become very defensive and turned vulgar in her language. The managers, Pam, had to ask her to the back room as she continued to gesture and scream obscenities at us and told my fiancé and me to go back to our country which happens to be the United States of America. I explained the situation to the manager and Angel appeared from the back room for a second time, threatening both of us and screaming obscenities and again had to be asked to go into the back room.

I have never been this blatantly discriminated against or treated in such a vulgar way by any business establishment. I fear Dunkin Donuts is not steadfast in their commitment to customer service and human decency if such people are allowed to work and represent their establishment. My fiancé and I are hard working, educated, and civilized citizens of the US and expect to be treated with respect when we walk into a Dunkin Donuts store. My fiancé is a Yale University Alumni and Faculty Member and we intend to take this issue to the Yale community as we continue to speak out against such deliberate acts of discrimination. Not only were both of your associates Angel and Dave very discriminating, Angel took it one step further and was threatening and rude. I attribute Dave's behavior to sheer ignorance and I think Angel also falls in the same category with added aggression and vulgarity. These are two people I hope never again to have contact with and it is a shame that I will no longer patron this Dunkin Donuts again due to their behavior. I have an established voice in the West Haven community and I plan to spread the word in print on the ill treatment that is allowed in this particular Dunkin Donuts establishment.

Rude disrespectful
I recently was in this Dunkin Donuts when I witnessed an elderley man of 81 yrs old rudely treated and disrespected by 2 employees. He was called names and phisically blocked when attempting to leave the store, All because he took a picture of the premises. He was not allowed to leave until the police came, When the employee was told by the police she could not do this she kept on renting about what they did in her country. her co worker kept on in the background with his rantings about his country and all the while threatning this old man, Ive witnessed them treat others very rudely in the past. Her name is Mkeba his name is Kieta

Constant wrong orders!
Constant wrong orders at both locations. Maybe they should take a little more time with customer service instead of worrying how their bum looks in their pants!!!

Worst customer service ever!
I needed to study for my midterm exam. A place where's it's warm, opens late, and caffeinated. So I've decided to drive to the local Dunkin Donuts--BIG MISTAKE. I got in, purchased coffee and chose a small table at the corner of the store, where I would less likely to be disturbed. An hour later, there was a shift change. I'm not sure if the new person is of manager status or just another hourly paid grumpy rude worker. She comes up to my table, and said (verbatim)--"I need this table. You need to move to the other side (points to the noisy side), this side is for customers who come and go."

NOWHERE in the store is there a sign that says the room has two separate areas. Surprised, I had replied "I've been here for a while, why do I have to move." She looks at me as if I were stupid, and said "that side is for studying, this side is for people who come and go."

Frankly, I was too stunned and angry to think logically. I should've stayed where I was and told her to stick those donuts up her ass. But I'm a peaceful person. I was already tired from studying all day and had no energy to put up a fight. So I moved. I shouldn't have but I did, leaving her with the satisfaction of bossing customers around.

This will be the last time I ever step a foot into that store, and the last time I'll ever be a Dunkin Donuts customer. With this kind of customer service and attitude, it's no wonder even when Starbucks is closed for training, no more than the regulars went to Dunkin for coffee.

Scam and cheating!
I went to dunkin donuts in clinton, nj and every time I go there the coffee is watered down and it taste like crap. I stopped going there and refuse to drink their coffee. I will drive out of my way to go to another one. But I'm a senior citizen and don't get out much if you could fix the problem there then I would be happy to drink there. But as is now I refuse to go there and they lost a good customer.

Poor customer service!
I have never experienced such a horrible service and embarrassment. Her name is Adela and she works in Dunkin Donuts. I was buying from drive thru and she did not gave me the total of how much I have to pay instead she overcharged me, so I had to go inside to get my difference back, instead i got something i have never seen before. She was very rude to me and had the biggest attitude, and she is serving people. She overcharged me and instead of appologising she was screaming and yelling at me in front of all the employees there. Then she start talking and screaming in Spanish, I am not a Spanish speaking, but i could tell she was saying bad thinks about me.

Person like that can not serve people. I would never ever go to that Dunkin Donuts again. Please address this to whom it may concern!!!

Thank you,
Mrs Pinzour.

Eating while serving customers!
I was Ordering at dunkin donuts (pc#332985 Bondsville, Ma) and the worker serving me was eating an ice cream cone, and she had also not followed the order correctly. I had ordered a small milkey way hot chocolate with whipped cream and she had giving it to me with out the whipped cream so i gave it back and also i am not sure if i even got a milky way hot choclate because on my receipt it had said i order a small white hot chocolate and this was my first time ordering a milky way hot chocolate so i was not sure if it was because it was new and they had not upgraded there cash register. The main reason was because of her eating while serving food.
