Work
I've been employed at Dunkin Donuts since October of 2010, and I am sorry to say that my time here has been horrible. First being, the General Managers of the store I work for, clearly have no idea what they are doing. I have had 4 seperate managers since I have been employed, all who have which lacked the proper training needed to run the 3 seperate locations I have worked at. My store frequently runs out of product, yet when the manager does her DCP order she does not order enough, and refuses to borrow fromk another store. My store had frequent complaints about our lack of product and our customer service when telling them we are currently out, in which my boss blames me for because I am the youngest. Is this proper working nature? Another thing is that my boss is frequently taking away the tips I make on the days that I work there due to me being late by 10 minutes, after I call to inform of me being late.. But does not do so for other employees who do the same. Is this fair? I must know, needless to say as of Sunday I am putting in my two weeks notice and lokoing for another job, I highly suggest that teenagers do NOT start working at Dunkin Donuts for their first job, it is EXTREMLY stressful and so not worth the time.

Refused service after wrong order - poor service
I tried ordering a number 6 (turkey sausage flat bread sandwich with coffee) with hash browns, but instead, the cashier charged me for the items separately, only after I pointed out that I wanted the combo deal with coffee (I got two receipts---one for the sandwich and hash browns, one for the coffee b/c I guess he forgot).
After looking at the receipts and noticing i was being charged more than I would if it were a combo, I brought this up to the cashier. He started arguing with me saying that I never asked for the coffee, even though I clearly said to him that I'd like a "number 6", which is a COMBO meal with a coffee! Just because I wanted the hash browns doesn't change that fact. In fact, adding the hash browns should have been cheaper too, since it would be added to a combo deal. But instead this cashier tried charging for these items separately, which I now suspect he's done to customers before.
After arguing back and forth, he started ignoring me and making me wait by serving other customers. He even asked me to move aside, which I refused. I asked for a manager and he said he WAS the manager, then proceeded to ignore me even longer by helping other customers. I said, "That's four people that you decided to help now, instead of me." and he snapped at me saying, "I need to help people in line."
FINALLY, he took my receipts and gave me a refund. However, when he was doing that, I said, "I don't want a refund, I just want to be charged the correct amount for the combo deal that I ordered." Then he looked at me and said he was going to refund my order and NOT serve me. He actually refused service to me! I took the money and said I would report him and then stormed out.
He made me feel bad about myself for feeling like a hassle, then seriously looked me in the eye and said he wouldn't serve me after refunding my money, all for disagreeing with him. I've never in my life been treated this way, and this was a MANAGER. That's F****ed up! After thinking about the whole transaction, I am POSITIVE that I was mistreated and am going to report this to DD's corporate office. No one deserves to be treated this way for simply mixing an order up. He was clearly pissed for me challenging the receipts after the order was put through.

POOR SERVICE
I WAITED IN LINE WITH FIVE PEOPLE AHEAD OF ME. THE LADY IN FRONT OF ME PUT IN HER ORDER AND PAID THEN STEPPED ASIDE. HER FRIEND THEN CAME FROM THE SOMEPLACE ELSE IN THE THRUWAY PLAZA, GOT IN FRONT OF ME AND STARTED ORDERING . SHE NEVER WAITED IN THE LINE AT ALL. WHEN I INFORMED THE DUNKIN DONUT CLERK THAT I WAS NEXT, SHE SAID THE WOMEN WAS NEXT. I THE INFORMED THE DUNKIN DONUT CLERK THAT THE WOMEN NEVER WAITED IN THE LONG LINE. THE WOMEN WHOM HAD ALREADY PAID AND WAS WAITING FOR HE ORDER TURNED TO ME AND SAID THAT SHE WAS WITH HER. I INFORMED ALL OF THEM THAT I WAITED IN LINE AND EVERYBODY ELSE IN BACK OF ME HAD WAITED IN LINE. I THEN TOLD THE CLERK THAT THE WOMEN'S FRIEND HAD ALREADY PAID AND HER FRIEND NEEDED TO WAIT IN LINE. THE CLERK DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO SO SHE TOOK THE WOMENS ORDER. I LOOKED BACK AT THE LINE OF PEOPLE WAITING AND THEY WERE ALL SHAKING THEIR HEADS IN DISGUST I THEN HAD A CHANCE TO PLACE MY ORDER AND RE-INFORMED THE CLERK THAT AGAIN THE WOMEN HAD NEVER WAITED IN LINE AND SHE WAS PAYING SEPERATE FROM HER FRIEND. THE CLERK LOOKED AT ME AND SAID "OK" SHE NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED. I FELT CHEATED AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER HORRIBLE WORKER AND SERVICE I HAVE RUN INTO AT SELECT DUNKIN DONUTS STORES. I WONT EVEN GO INTO THE HERKIMER NY DUNKIN DONUTS ANYMORE. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE, THEY SCREW UP THE ORDERS ALL THE TIME AND THEY ARE HORRIBLY DISORGANIZED. ONCE I STOPPED THERE AT 7:30 AM AND THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY DONUTS YET. HOW CAN YOU HAVE DONUT IN YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND NOT HAVE ANY DONYUTS AT 7;30 IN THE MORNING. NOW I HAVE TO ADD THE LITTLE FALLS NYS THRUWAY DUNKIN DONUTS AS YET ANOTHER HORRIBLE DUNKIN DONUTS. I'VE BEEN STOPPING MORE AND MORE AT TIM HORTONS AND STAR BUCKS. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM IN ANY OF THOSE COFFEE CHAINS. DOES DUNKIN DONUTS REALIZE HOW MANY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS THEY LOSE EVERY YEAR BECAUSE OF POORLY TRAINED STAFF AND HORRIBLE SERVICE. I HAVE HAD IT WITH DUNKIN DONUTS!!!

Bad Coffee Experience
I stopped at Dunkin Donuts in Westborough (near TJ Maxx and Job Lot) this morning and got a medium regular coffee and a blueberry muffin. The service here is usually great but today but today I have a bad experience. The coffee tasted different than before and I have developed a bad stomach pain. The lady that served me said that the person opening the shop hadn't show up. i don't like to complain and I was going to just forget the incident until I developed this stomach pain. I feel that I must at least inform you and maybe prevent some other customers from getting sick. I poured coffee out before I got the stomach pain but I went back and got the empty cup and it's here at my desk as evidence. I would appreciate your response and your attention to this matter. It's probably a one-time incident that, hopefully will never occur again. I will be very cautious if and when I visit this location again.

EMPLOYEES' POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...
We had a drive thru order this morning at D&D. I am so upset at the kind or service I received today at D&D. The whole staff was so rude and discriminating towards us, that it was just ridiculous. I will never go to a D&D again due to this.
After making our initial order, I literally had to repeat the order 6 times to let them know what and how we wanted our sandwiches (part of the order was - one croissant with egg, cheese, and bacon and one croissant with only egg, no cheese or bacon). At the end we asked if she got everything right for us and she stated yes, the minute we drove off and opened the bag both the receipt and the order was screwed up. One croissant with egg, cheese, and bacon only included egg and cheese with no bacon and one croissant with only egg, no cheese or bacon was not even in the bag she gave us.
We drove and went back in to D&D to complaint as this was too much. The supervisor there on duty (Megan) was really rude and prejudice towards us. She said sorry in a way like she is doing us a favor and with no empathy what so ever for the mistake they made. She even was not listening to us and so I got frustrated and said do you need me to write out the order for you to understand. I just got really upset and mad and stated that I want my money back as per your policy (Dunkin Donuts), since you screwed up the receipt and the order. There policy in writing in front of the counter states that if the order is not correct (receipt) you get your full refund back. However, she refused to give us a refund and had so much difficulty for apologizing for an order she screwed up on even after we repeated it 6 times for her. She talked to us with a really bad attitude. She was the most rudest and most insensitive person there. When I asked for her full name (Megan) she refused to give me her last name. I then asked for her manager's name and she only gave me the first name also (Rick) and not the last as she stated that they cannot give this info. She was so ridiculous.
I have been going to D&D for many years now and never had a problem. The whole staff there at this location needs to be replaced or seriously needs some training in customer service. They do not know how to talk to the customer or even to satisfy the customer for a mistake they made. I will never go to D&D because of this now and will never recommend it to others as well. The economic damage she caused it that, I lost all my gas money to go back and forth for a mistake they made and was not even compensated for it as per there fake policy that they post in front of the counter and do now abide by it at all. I was mistreated and will now spread my experience to all the people I know. I have been working in customer service for over 15 years now and I know what it means to dissatisfy one person, it means losing several new customers' and new business for the future. I am pregnant and this is my 38th week and she has caused me so much stress by this that I had to file a complaint online for this case. I know people have bad days, but never saw a worker get mad at a customer for a mistake the worker made. Also that the worker treats the customer like they are nothing and not even compensate them for all the difficulty and hasseling for driving back and forth (pregnant - 38th week)and of all the stress this has caused me. God bless these people, is all I have to say...

Rudeness
I went to dunkin donuts and ordered 3 bagels and a hot chocolate, they were rather busy while I was there. The guy who was making the bagels and the other hot food was yelling "I quit" and "Go some place else it's healthier." Ok if he does not like his job he can quit, there are people out there who would take thay job and be happy they have a job.
This is in Bennington, Vt on North Street. The guy's name is Kevin, this is not good business, you have lost my business. The service is supposed to be friendly, yet when you go there you get attitude and snotty workers making nasty comments, he is telling people to take thier business else where. So that I will do.

Always running out of products
The dunkin dounuts on s.wodland blvd and the one on 92 in deland fl. are always running out of products either carmel, large cups straws, whip cream hot cocoa. I have called and talked to mrs gomeza and her reply is, its a new system they are ordering from and they will get it by next week. well the next week came and again out of products. i would think you would want to build your sales, not send them away. i feel she is just coming up with excuses to pees me. a very pissed off concerned customer

coupon ripoff
I received a flyer in the mail offering special prices on a number of items with a coupon. I usually buy a 24 oz coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. The usual charge is $4.00. Today I went in with a coupon for $1.49 for the coffee. They charged me $2.19 for the coffee and took off $.76 for the coupon. When the added the regular price of the bagel($2.29) the total came to $3.72 plus tax of $.18 or $3.90. So the $.76 value of the coupon was negated by taking away the combo price.
This is unacceptable. I feel cheated !!!. I threw away the rest of the coupons and will seriously consider no longer patronizing DD.
Your promotion is a rip-off. you should be ashamed of yourselves.!!

Terrible Service!!!
Terrible place, illegal flippinos giving me bad service. One time I changed up my order and the flippino lady Mayette told her husband Rey to not put any ice in my Ice coffee because I changed my order. I had to request another ice coffee and wait another 5 minutes for it. I have had a few times Mayette put the lid on my coffee loose so it will spill. These are nasty filipinos. Somebody should call INS and deport these illegals back home where they came from.

dirt in cake donut dough
After ordering two old fashioned cake doughnuts through the drive through, I broke one apart and found black flecks all in the doughnut. The other doughtnut was the same. It looked like mites or like someone had put pepper in the dough before dropping them. I went in the store and asked the red headed female manager there about the quality of the doughnuts an showed her the flecks of black/brown dirtlike stuff. SHe said, "Theyre old fashioned doughnuts. They have spices and stuff." It wouldve been fine had the pictues I've found on the internet had no sign of these spices. Or had she even said it nicely. I felt that I was being laughed at. This lady avoided my complaint and did not even offer me replacement doughnuts which would've cost the company under 50 cents. I walked out of the place with no doughnuts and having lost my money.
