customer service
We stopped in the Dunkin donuts to get coffee and some donuts for our young kids, my wife waited inside for about 10 minutes and was not helped at all. When she came out with nothing and was upset, i went back in and waited for about 10 minutes before i finally asked the guy in back if he was the only person working there and he said yes. Well it was apparent that he had no idea of what he was doing. I let him know that there were people and children waiting to be helped, and he just shrugged. I don't think that people like that should be in any kind of business where it requires any kind of customer service skills.

Incorrect charges and refusal of service
I tried ordering a number 6 (turkey sausage flat bread sandwich with coffee) with hash browns, but instead, the cashier charged me for the items separately, only after I pointed out that I wanted the combo deal with coffee (I got two receipts---one for the sandwich and hash browns, one for the coffee b/c I guess he forgot).
After looking at the receipts and noticing i was being charged more than I would if it were a combo, I brought this up to the cashier. He started arguing with me saying that I never asked for the coffee, even though I clearly said to him that I'd like a "number 6", which is a COMBO meal with a coffee! Just because I wanted the hash browns doesn't change that fact. In fact, adding the hash browns should have been cheaper too, since it would be added to a combo deal. But instead this cashier tried charging for these items separately, which I now suspect he's done to customers before.
After arguing back and forth, he started ignoring me and making me wait by serving other customers. He even asked me to move aside, which I refused. I asked for a manager and he said he WAS the manager, then proceeded to ignore me even longer by helping other customers. I said, "That's four people that you decided to help now, instead of me." and he snapped at me saying, "I need to help people in line."
FINALLY, he took my receipts and gave me a refund. However, when he was doing that, I said, "I don't want a refund, I just want to be charged the correct amount for the combo deal that I ordered." Then he looked at me and said he was going to refund my order and NOT serve me. He actually refused service to me! I took the money and said I would report him and then stormed out.
He made me feel bad about myself for feeling like a hassle, then seriously looked me in the eye and said he wouldn't serve me after refunding my money, all for disagreeing with him. I've never in my life been treated this way, and this was a MANAGER. That's F****ed up! After thinking about the whole transaction, I am POSITIVE that I was mistreated and am going to report this to DD's corporate office. No one deserves to be treated this way for simply mixing an order up. He was clearly pissed for me challenging the receipts after the order was put through.

Poor service
The customer service at the Dunkin Donuts I went to was very poor. The lady rolled her eyes at me when I asked if I could have a bottle of water at the drive thru. I asked them to put cream and sugar on the side, because they always overload their coffee with sugar. She handed me the sugar and creams in her hand, instead of putting it in the bag with my bagel. I checked the bag and they almost never put the coffee stirer in there. Not to mention they filled my cup up to the brim, making it not only difficult to even put cream and sugar in there, but causing hot coffee to overflow. The coffee was also very nasty and old, like brown water. It wasn't coffee but coffee flavored brown water

Mean Employees
One employee that always works at this specific Dunkin' Donuts store, is very nasty to select customers. Whenever I come in to the store, she is very kind to the costomers in line before me, whenever I get up to the register, she becomes a very bitter person. She will lose her smile and talk to me with an attitude. She has done this with other customers besides myself too, I have seen this strange behavior on various occasions. I would like to add that I dance down the street from this store, therefore this is a constant food souce and I am a very frequent customer. I have never done anything to offend her and do not understand why she has this attitude. She has even called people from behind me, before letting me order. Today, my friend and I went to purchase food from here and the card we were using did not work, so I ran back to get cash and was back at the store in about 3 minutes. When I came back, she threw her arms in the air and was very hostile towards my friend and I. I do not believe that paying customers of this company deseve vile treatment like this. I find it rude and disappointing in the chain.

undrinkable
When in Chicago do NOT visit the Dunkin Donuts on Foster and Lincoln. The coffee is undrinkable, (how many times do they run the same filter?), the service rude and very slow

Dogs allowed?
My boyfriend and I decided to go to Dunkin Donuts on 1101 North Colony Road, Wallingford CT. on 2/26/11. to get something to drink. Well we walk in and see several elderly men and woman sitting on one side of the restaurant. And to our right there was a man standing there with his small daughter (she was around 4) and she had a small dog with her …. INSIDE!
The dog was on a lead but it honestly didn’t matter. Once I saw the dog I was disgusted enough. Then (to add insult to injury) the dog starts to defecate IN THE RESTURANT! I wanted to throw up right then and there.
The man just picked up the mess and threw it away in the garbage inside! Instead of going outside and throwing it away in the bin out doors.
The woman behinds the counter thought all this was “cute”. Oh of course because this was her family. The child was her daughter. (the little girl was calling out “mommy! Mommy!”) I proceeded to walk to the counter. I was so disgusted that I said “so… apparently it’s ok to have animals in here huh?” the woman looked at me blankly.
This WAS NOT a seeing eye dog. It was a small dog that was clearly not trained. The weather was perfectly fine to keep it in the car for several minutes without a worry. The people working there saw it ok to allow an animal in a location were people are eating food and drinking coffee/tea.
The dogs hair could easily have gone in the food/drinks. I am allergic to dogs and had a slight reaction to it. My boyfriend and I both lost our appetite after witnessing such a disgusting act in front of us.
Note: Picture attached is NOT the dog crapping. It's just the best way I can explain the service.

about a manager
I went to Dunkin Donuts on Friday Feb. 5th 2011 the manager that was on duty was very ugly to her employees she cursed out this one employee right in front of me. I got her name and told her i was contacting corporate on her. Her Name is Soma didn't get lastname. She had told this one particular employee that they was pissing her f--in off but said the actual f word. I told her that she shouldn't talk to her employees like that they do not deserve that they're doing the best they can. she rolled her eyes at me. hadn't been back since.

The order
This place at times is very slow because they mostly pay attention too the drive through more than the front counter especially in the summer when they get hammered from both sides they try they're best too keep everything tip top i understand. the complaint i have too this specific place is for many reasons i noticed as a customer
when me my family came in we asked for a dozen donuts and 50 munchkins as well as 7 hot chocalates for everyone, and they messed up the order by giving us not our amount of munchkins as well as not even the right kinds that we wanted that we asked for
the dozen donuts came out too be fine but when it got too the hot chocalates they gave us 9 as we didnt see and also charged us for them
The working conditions of this place are a 2 out 5 because the manager was nowhere too be seen ta fix this problem
with all honesty if we as the people trust a person as a manager we trust in them too keep everyone in check and too make sure that all orders are done correctly and with all honesty they should think about new managment because none of that was done
and if they are reading this review/ complaint right now i just have too say too them specifically too seriously think about new management and promote someone too manager who looks like they can better well handle the job thats givin too them
Thank you for reading this, no hard feelings im just speaking my mind
