Customer Service/Orders
I visit Dunkin Donuts two to maybe 3 times a week during the morning since i work right infront of it at 39 E. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60604. I have had several misunderstanding with the cashier not taking my order's correctly. They either over-charge me or say that they did not charge me the correct amount, etc. Today, Friday September 24, 2010 i walk in at 7:09am and i happen to order a # 4 on the menu which is a Sausage Egg Cheese Croissant with a medium Coffee. I always upgrade to a large Coffee which is a few cents difference and i always end up paying a balance of $4.93. Instead, the cashier Karla M. rang up a completely different order, which was a Sausage Egg Cheese Wrap and charged me the same amount. I complain her and say this is not what i ordered. She goes to the manager, i don't recall her name, and explains the situation. The manager comes up to me and quote says "The cashier rang you up a different order it will be $1.87 additional for me to exchange you a Sausage Egg Cheese Croissant". WHY do i have to pay more when i always order the same thing and it comes out to the same balance. Funny it isn't the only time they have done this to me and for anyone reading this, they will mix up your order, over-charge you, etc.. I ill not be ordering from that Dunkin Donuts location again.

After 15 the shift leader, a little kid that looks 10 years old and had NO MANNERS, told us to get out, i was like "what, r u kidding?" he says "no u need to leave, u can only
stay for 15" min, NO MORE OTHER PEOPLE NEED A PLACE TO SIT. yea i agree but if there WERE ANY ONE ELSE IN THE STORE. only one other guy was sitting texting on his phone, we were not being loud at all and we were not messing up the store or anything. what a bullshit thing, they dont no how to treat there costumers that spned money in there store. a dunkin that i wont go back to untill that little shitty shift leader is gone.

Abuse in the workplace
I worked for this store for ten months, and it was nothing but mental torture. The store manager was always yelling and screaming at all of us employees in front of eachother and in front of the customers. She yelled at me yesterday and called me a cocky little bitch.I had my fill and we had it out right there, but unfortunately for me i was fired for standing up for myself, and whats worse is that it pissed her off so bad that she called the cops and put a restraining order on me. I feel that she just did that to show off her power and to use me as an example to all the rest of my fellow employees that if they stand up to her thats what will happen to them. Someone needs to get rid of her before the company goes down. all of her most experienced help has left and more and more are quitting all the time.

Pricing policy
I stopped at the Dunkin Donuts on the Post Rd. in Fairfield, CT for coffee and a toasted bagel with butter. My husband noticed that the employee rang up one bagel for $1.29 and added a charge for butter for $.40. I have never heard of an establishment charging for butter on a bagel (cream cheese yes-$1.20 extra)! I asked the employee if that is indeed the case and she said yes they charge extra for butter. I looked at the "menu" or price list posted on the wall above the donuts, and it says a single bagel for $1.29 and it lists a bagel with cream cheese is $2.49 (ridiculous). There was no mention of butter as a separate charge. It is infuriating and deceptive. I went into the Southport, CT location, and they follow the same practice. I will never again patronize a Dunkin Donuts and I am filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency of Connecticut

rude employees
I go into this dunkin donuts almost every morning to get myself and my husband a coffee. And most of these morning, there are three girls that I can see and hear talking so badly about all the customers, including myself sometimes, using profanity and extremley hurtful words that I dont even care to mention. I have taken the time to read there name tags (thank god they are required to do so) and there names are terry, ashley, and tara. These girls should not be working in a restaurant buisness where customers are the number one priority. If I were a part of the corporate team, I would do the right thing by firing them immediatly. Terry and Tara almost always make a huge deal about my bagels or sandwiches being cut into half, of putting cream cheese on my bagel. This restaurant will no longer be my coffee stop in the morning. Those horrible girls need to go!

poor MANAGMENT/bad products
My daughter worked for this company for a year now, and she has been harrassed by 2 managers at 2 diffrent times. Shes never called in or was late, infact she always came in after her drunkin co-workers could not make it in because of their hang overs the folling morning. They would schedule her for afternoons and evenings (when her avability stated she was not able to work these shifts when she was hired (this is illegal to do in ny state) Has another job with pension medical ect.) I called a week ago concerned about this store and how she has been treated. Asked the manager that I would hope this would not effect her job. Since I called her the job got harder Manager found it convient to yell at her yesterday in front of customers ""REAL PROFESSIONAL"" Today she got fired by text on cell phone.Ive never heard such a thing MANAGMENT grow some dunkin dog balls and sit down with your employees and fire them in person not by texting them. And just so you locals know you are buying old food they are to put new donuts on racks by 8 am they are not doing this until 3 pm. I use to go DD stores 3 times a week but havent gone in 4 years because the coffee is weak product has gone down hill.Kwik Fill coffee is better and cheaper!!!

Working conditions
I work for this company and Dunkin Donuts rents from Rindge Country Convience Store. It is about 87 degrees inside where Dunkin Donuts is located right now. There is no air circulating and people get so hot that they feel like they are going to pass out. Not only that but we are all sweating while dealing with food, I think that is unsanitary and disguisting. We have brought it up many times to the COO of Dunkin Donuts and nothing is being done about it. They say it is fine when they aren't back here working while its hot outside and inside with all the machines going. They don't want to have to deal with the manager of the convience store so they just ignore us and inform us they don't have time for this. It becomes so hot that people need to go take breaks in the walk in fridge so they don't get sick or pass out. I think this is something that they need to deal with. We are suppose to be working in comfortable working conditions exspecially with food. We don't have access to the controls of the air system. Only the owner of the convience store does and he shuts them off or sets is so it don't turn on unitl 76 degrees and only our controll would go off. So now it is trying to cool down the whole building, and some days it doesn't even trun on. This is a big company and they should care about their employees working conditions.

discrimination
I'm a Dunkin Donuts customer at 1600 Southeast Rd in Farmington. I always purchase my coffee at that location and there's this nice Black lady that always serves me. Yesterday (July 25th), I went to buy my coffee and there was a long line. We had to wait at least 20 min and some customers got tired and left. I asked the Black lady what where her other coworker was and she told me she's been fired. It seemed to me that the other assistant of the Black lady was stealing money. I asked the Black lady and she told me that her assistant is "playing games".
How come that the manager of the store who works with his wife and daughters together discriminate? Anyone who doesn't speak their language or is not from Mexico is been discriminated against.
Dunkin Donuts is not the place for discrimination!
Thanks

poor service
THIS COMPLAINT IS FOR THE STORE AT 109 E Main St Bound Brook, NJ. Phone: 732-302-9022
Evertime a family member or I go into this spacific Dunkin Donuts we are presented with the same accuring issues. They NEVER get the order correct and you stand there waiting for your food while the person behind you that ordered after you is getting their food first. When they come out with a bag thinking its what you ordered they argue over wheather or not you ordered what you say you did and make you look like the bad guy. Its embarrasing because when i go there i know what i order and when they come out with less then what i asked for because they are more worried about asking if you want to add a coffee to the order for .99 rather just allowing you to make the order you want while making sure they are doing their job by making the order correct its a little upsetting.
Here is what happened, While i was there i purchased 6 items which were divided into two orders. The first order was 2 everything bagels with cream cheese and two jelly donuts. He asked THREE TIMES IF I WANTED TO ADD COFFEE TO THAT, i responded no thanks all three times. After that order was completed my mom and i stepped to the side while the next customer ordered their food. While standing there we decided to make a second order which consisted of two egg and cheese wraps. A lady came out from the back and gave us a bag with ONE bagel in it. I said sorry we ordered two, she said yes the second is coming out. Then a man came out and presented us with a bag that had TWO bagels in it along with the second order we placed ( 2 egg wraps), he ripped the first bag out of my hands that had the one bagel in it, then switched the bags that held two bagels inside with the bag that had one bagel and said this isnt for you, you ordered one everything this is for the next customer then handed it over to the next customer. So i said well we never got the second bagel we ordered. He said alright hold on one second, checked with the cashier and said a second one was never ordered. They made a HUGE deal about it and the MANAGER gave my mother and i a dirty look while we were walking out. The cashier who rang us up approched both my mother and i and said " Mam, i only charged you for one bagel not two". I responded to him " i made two orders that was my first order and my mom stood next to me and heard me tell you i wanted two bagels and two jelly donuts. Needless to say he claimed he didnt charge me for two bagels. If he had been paying attention and not pushing more orders on us he would have correctly completed the order with no issues. I will NOT be returning to this location and I WILL put word out on the bad service and the dirty looks i got from the manager.

Service
It is to my understanding that when you give your money to a business that that business should be making all attempts, and efforts of making sure that their employees are treating their customers with the utmost respect, and giving them the satisfaction that they deserve. Unfortunately, this does not happen at the Dunkin Donuts on 330 W Rt.59 in Nanuet, NY located in the "Thuway Plaza" all due to one employee who we later found happens to be the uncle of the store manager. Late at night into the early morning hours on Mondays and Saturday nights, after a long shift at work, my husband drives an hour to pick me up, and we are forced to drive an extra couple of miles down route 59 before we can get a cup of coffee at the nearest 7/11 just to avoid this particular individulal. He shows deplorable people skills, and extreme laziness to the point that we don't even want to go there anymore because we don't want to deal with his attitude. We are not revenegful people, and do have respect which is why we will not reveal his name in our complaint. We would just like to express our feelings, and let the corporate management know what is going on so they can investigate, and take maters into their own hands.
